The 2-day Gorilla trekking safari in Rwanda begins from Kigali to Parc des Volcans/Volcanoes National Park and then back to Kigali for a city tour. During this safari, there will be enough time to trek gorillas in the mist forests and valleys. While on this tour, you will trek mountain gorillas in their natural habitats, visit the Twin lakes (Burera & Ruhundo), and a visit to the Genocide memorial site, making it an unforgettable safari experience.

Day 1 : Transfer From Kigali To Musanze

Our company tour guide will pick you up from your Hotel and transfer to you to Volcanoes National Park driving through the beautiful countryside and home to the mountain gorillas. Later take a visit to the Twin Lakes (Burera and Ruhondo).
These Magnificent twin lakes of Burera and Ruhondo and its Swamp Rugezi are the excellent photogenic, serene and scenic places for Bird watching activity.
Have dinner and overnight as you prepare for gorilla trekking o the next day.
Day 2 : Gorilla Tracking In Volcanoes National Park - Transfer To Kigali
Location: Musanze
Meals Included: Breakfast, Lunch
In the morning after breakfast transfer to the Kinigi Park headquarters by 7:00 am where you will be briefed by park rangers about the rules concerning trekking.
After the briefing, start off with trekking along the paths in the bamboo forests, it is an amazing activity where it can take between 2 to 6 hours to track the mountain gorillas. When you meet the gorillas face to face you will watch them jumping from branch to branch, feed, play among other things; Only 1 hour is given to trekkers to watch the gentle giants.
You will also see buffaloes, monkeys, birds, and elephants through the forests.
Later, transfer back to the lodge for lunch, check out and transfer back to Kigali where you will be able to Visit the Genocide memorial site with information and memories of the shading of blood during the 1994 genocide.
