Day 1 : Bhubaneshwar

Day 1: Bhubaneshwar airport: Arrive Bhubaneshwar, meet representative of "Discover Activities", New Delhi & get transferred to the hotel booked for you. After some rest explore the temples of the temple city of Bhubaneswar in a chronological manner to understand the development of temple architecture from the 7th to 11th centuries. Visit temples like Parsurameswar, Mukteswar, Rajarani and Lingaraj temple. After your day's tour is complete you would be driven back to the hotel by the evening and spend some quality time for yourself. Overnight at the hotel in Bhubaneswar

Day 02: Bhubaneswar To Konark

Location: Konark Sun Temple, Bhubaneswar

Day 02: Bhubaneswar to Konark: Morning breakfast at the hotel. Later check-out from the hotel and proceed to Khandagiri, the caves and the Jain monuments. Then visit the Tribal research museum to know about the rich tribal culture and crafts of Odisha. Later drive to Konark via the Buddhist Peace Pagoda and also visit Pipili to witness the Ashokan rock edicts and the applique makers. You will be reaching Konark during the early evening hours, visiting the illuminated Sun temple is a spectacular sight at the backdrop of the dark sky. You will be staying overnight at the Konark hotel.

Day 3 : Konark To Temple Town Of Puri

Location: Puri Beach, Konark Sun Temple

Day 03: Konark to Puri: In the morning visit to this world heritage site repute Sun temple, Konark where the language of stones defeated the language of humans. Then proceed to Puri, the holy Dham. Check-in hotel in Puri. During the late afternoon hours, explore the lanes of the holy city and its places of cultural importance on a Green Rickshaw service. In the evening visit the town and markets around Jagannath temple (foreigners not allowed to go inside the temple). You can also explore the beach in Puri (NO Swimming allowed). Drive back to the hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 4 : Puri To Chilika Lake Excursion And Back

Day 04: Puri to Chilika Lake Excursion On day 4, you will be visiting Chilika Lake at Satapada where you will witness dolphins. Enjoy your lunch at Satapada and be driven back to Puri during the late afternoon hours. Free time for self in the evening by the seaside to visit and shop at the beach markets. Day 5 : Morning Artisan Village, Later Drop At Bhubaneshwar Airport

Location: Biju Patnaik International Airport

Day 05: Artisan Village explore and Puri to Bhubaneshwar airport drop: After the breakfast on the fifth day, you will be checking out from the hotel. The checking out will be followed by a drive to Raghurajpur, the artisan village famous for Orissan Patta painting and you get an opportunity to buy typical Orissan souvenirs from the artists directly. After a few hours in the village proceed to Sakhigopal temple and then to Siruli Mahaveer temple. You would be driven back to Bhubaneswar airport to board the flight for onward journey with bags full of memories.

What SIngh jo does not...

What SIngh jo does not know about Old Delhi is probably not worth knowing. He is a walking history book and has detailed knowledge of the sites and monuments which he shares with joy and great enthusiasm. I highly recommend his walking tours which include rickshaw rides - and a penetrating flash of sight into Indian culture.

Mr Jai Singh was the most professional and communicative tour operator that I have encountered to date. Not only was his knowledge exceptional on the possible options on hotels and activities, but he assisted us in successfully recovering our money when the Indian government unfortunately changed the visa requirements at the last minute resulting in having to cancel our visit. I will hopefully be able to arrange another visit to India in the future and will, without doubt, use Mr Singh again

I enjoyed a really interesting and reasonably priced private tour of Mehrauli Archaeological Park and Tughlaqabad Fort with Jai. It’s hard to find guides for these places but Jai did a great job of organising and running the tour.
