Great

15-Aug-2023

We did a 2 night jungle trek starting from Bukit Lawang. It was well organized. It was a great experience hiking through the jungle and see all types off different animals. The food they cooked in the evening was amazing and vegetarian friendly. We also had the best guide named Fabio. He was realy helpful and knew everything we asked him. I would try to ask for him as your guide. Thank you for the amazing experience.

Thank you for this experience!

12-Jul-2023

We did a 3 day jungle trek in Bukit Lawang as a family of two adults, and 3 children (10, 8 and almost 4 years), including transport from/to Medan Airport. We loved the whole experience, Christine as a booking contact, Safrool as our local contact, Fabio as our guide, and Mawan and Iman. Our flight was delayed, but our pickup waited for us for a couple of hours and also arranged food for us on the way to Bukit Lawang. We saw many Orang Oetang, had support when the track was challenging, and always were treated with friendliness, understanding and fun. Our kids loved the trip, the fruits and the Orang Oetang. And by their words: would have liked a 35 day trip instead of a 3 day trip. FYI: Our kids know how to hike but and we brought a carrier backpack for our youngest. Carrying this backpack was shared between the adults.

Amazing wildlife, fantastic knowledgeable guides, so friendly and great food!

Myself and my father did the overnight jungle Orangutan trek. Amazing wildlife, lots of orangutans and other monkeys to see on the trek. Our guides Ibo and Inchan were so friendly, helpful and knowledgeable about the jungle and wildlife. They both spoke excellent English and were very kind and helpful on the trek. Prepared delicious food on the way and also took us away from the other tourists to experience some quiet parts of the jungle where we got to see some orangutans just by ourselves. They also were very attentive and were always happy to stop for a short rest and help us in the slightly steeper parts of the trek. The food at the camp was a delicious combination of many dishes, beautifully presented by the cook at camp, you will certainly not go hungry! The hut by the river we stayed in was basic but clean, they have mattresses and a small blanket provided, you may want to take an extra pillow. Lovely to swim in the river after a hot trek. Beautiful jungle walk and so much wildlife. The guides are very respectful of the animals and keep a good distance so as not to disturb them too much. Thank you Christine, Safrool, Ibo and Inchan, it was an amazing experience.

Spectacular, highly recommended, once in a lifetime experience

08-Aug-2023

We are a couple who booked our 2 days 1 night jungle trekk trip online and Christine was very prompt in answering us. She gave us all the information needed and provided a taxi from the airport (an additional 50 euros). We arrived late at night and Christine's partner met us and guided us to our guesthouse. He gave us all the information needed for the tour and was very friendly and helpful. In the morning we met our assistant guide (Pele) at the guesthouse and he took us to the starting point. Our tour guide Fabio was very friendly and kind. He gave us information about the jungle, the animals and even some crazy stories about his experience in the jungle. Pele was constantly trying to spot animals for us. We were provided with a lot of food, amazing fruit and tea and coffee. Gluten free food was provided for one of us. We were with another two guys so we were a small group which was nice. Fabio was patient and let everyone walk at their own pace. We saw many types of monkeys and orangutans with their babies. One even walked right in front of us! Although there were other groups it wasn't crowded and it was a true jungle experience. Make sure to wear long socks as there are leeches around. We had an amazing dinner in the evening once we got to the campsite. We enjoyed chilling outside after dinner just chatting and watching insects while listening to the sounds of the jungle. It was so surreal. (we were lucky it wasn't raining as the night before it rained all night) The next morning we had breakfast and continued the trekk. At this point we separated as the other group were doing the 3days two nights tour. We were with Pele the assistant guide. The trekk down at the end was quite challenging but doable. Once we got to the river we had a great lunch and then rafted back to the town. Rafting was a perfect, fun way to end the trip. We highly recommend booking this trip! Our only regret is not doing a longer trekk! We loved it and want to go back.
