Visit in a full day the very famous Petra ruins. Petra or the Rose City is famous for its distinctive red sandstone. This remarkable city of temples and houses was carved out of sheer rock some 2,000 years ago by a nomadic people called the Nabataeans. From this stone stronghold, they were able to control the ancient trade routes of Arabia, establishing a kingdom that became known for its exquisite architecture and refined culture. Making your way on foot through a slim fissure in the rock of the ‘Siq’ mountains you will encounter the dramatic treasury plus the Street of Facades, the Court House and the Amphitheatre. If there is time you can even climb the 1,200 steps to the Monastery. Transfer back to your hotel.

Visit the ruined City of Jerash, the largest and most interesting Roman site in Jordan. Jerash or Jarash, is one of the world’s best preserved ancient Roman sites. Once known as Gerasa, Jerash is believed to have been inhabited since the Neolithic Era. However, it is the impressive Roman city built in Jerash which has left its greatest mark on the area, becoming Jordan’s second most popular tourist site after Petra.

Then proceed to the Greek Church of Saint George. The Church of Saint George at Madaba is an early Byzantine church also Known as the “Church of the Map”. You will finish your day at Mount Nebo where Moses was buried according to Christian traditions. Transfer to your hotel in the Dead Sea city.

Today, you will visit the Giza Plateau. Today’s tour includes the Great Pyramids of Khufu, Khafre, and Menkaure with the great Sphinx. The only ancient wonder which still remains (Khufu’s pyramid) awaits you. Are you ready to discover it from inside?

Transfer to Cairo airport to fly to Luxor to start your Nile cruise from Luxor to Aswan. Meet and assist at Luxor airport and transfer to your cruise. Upon arriving on board, lunch will be served. In the afternoon, you’re invited to explore the largest temple in the world, the Temple of Karnak, and the majestic Temple of Luxor. Both temples were dedicated to the Theban Triad of Amun, Mut, and Khonsu. Overnight is in Luxor.

Today, you will visit the glorious tombs of the Valley of the Kings. The pharaohs during the New Kingdom ceased building pyramids and cut their tombs deep into the mountain trying to hide them from the grave robbers. There are 65 tombs at the Valley of the Kings, your guide will suggest the best 3 tombs of the ones opened to visit. From the glorious Valley of the Kings to the unique temple of the female pharaoh Hatshepsut who served as solo pharaoh for about 20 years. You will end your trip at the giant Colossi of Memnon which survives from the temple of pharaoh Amenhotep III. Back to the ship to set sail to Edfu via the Lock of Esna. Overnight is in Edfu.

You will wake up on the voices of the horsemen who are waiting to take you to the temple of Horus in Edfu. This temple is the most intact temple in Egypt and it was built during the Greco-Roman period. After visiting the temple you will sail up to Kom Ombo to visit the twin temple of Sobek, the Crocodile god, and Horus, the falcon god. Then proceed to the Crocodile Museum in the vicinity of the temple. After the tour, the ship will sail up to Aswan where it moors for the next two days.

Welcome to the lovely City of Aswan. Your tour includes the largest engineering project in the 1960s, the High Dam, the granite quarry of the Unfinished Obelisk, and the amazing Temple of Philae. Back on board for lunch. Free evening to discover the City of Aswan.

Today, you are exploring the fantastic contents of the historical Egyptian Museum at Tahrir Square in Cairo. Hundreds of objects from all periods of the Egyptian past are displayed on the two floors of the museum.
From the museum to the Citadel of the Sunni Muslim leader Saladin, built in 1172 to protect Cairo against the Crusaders. The White Mosque of Mohammed Ali Pasha is a prominent feature of the citadel. You will finish your tour today at the historical bazaar of Khan El-Khalili, the largest bazaar in the Middle East.

Your last tour in Egypt is spiritual, to the Community of Religions in Cairo. The tour includes the famous Hanging Church, the Cave Church, the Synagogue of Ben Ezra, and the first mosque in Africa, the Mosque of Amr.
