Sunrise Tour with Everest

I am just after returning from an amazing 5 day trip to Nepal. Last Friday I arrived in Kathmandu with my friend. We had arranged a tour with Himalyan Social Journey. Before I joined this tour I emailed about 20 companies (recommended on TripAdvisor) in Nepal to see what they offered. I found Himalyan Social Journey competitive with their pricing. They were very efficient with emailing me and clear on what was and wasn’t included. Initially it was just me going. After I got the itenary my friend also came for 3 nights. Himalyan Social Journey incorporates her into my trip with no hassle whatsoever. We paid 20% of the tour cost initially and the remaining 80% 14 days before the tour started. From the minute we arrived in the airport to the minute they dropped each of us back it all was effortless. They said and did exactly what they promised. We loved all the guides (especially Dilip and Ramee) so friendly and accomodating. They all had brilliant English too. They recommended other things as we went along and were able to plan them for us. Throughout the trip I was able to keep in contact with the company via What’s App and email. They are there to make you feel happy and comfortable. We found Nepal a very safe place. There was a great mixture of activities and free time to explore throughout the trip. The accommodation was perfect and in great locations. We loved every minute of each of our trips. I would highly recommend this company to anybody. Thanks guys for ever lasting memories and showing us as much as we could see in such a short length of time. I have attached some I tyres but have hundreds after the trip! It was an amazing time of year to visit. We were lucky it was dry almost all the time apart from a few showers of rain at night. We saw clear skies and snow topped mountains most of the days. I felt I learned so much about the Nepalese people and culture during the trip. Nepal is am amazing country with so much to offer. So much nature to be experienced. Thank you Himayan Social Journey for absolutely everything. I have recommended you to my friends already. We will be back!

My 12 year old son and I took a great day trip through Himalayan Social Journey after our morning Everest flight. It was a fantastic tour overall and specifically great for my son. Our superb guide Rigzin, was absolutely great. Knowledgeable, friendly and kind. He explained the sites, history and spiritual aspects of both places in a patient and interesting way with easily understandable English that had my son interested and engaged in the history and culture of the places. What more can you ask for! My son was so at ease that he would just follow Rigzin as we went through the tour as I was taking some pictures. The tour started at 10:30 and we returned by 430pm. The JuJu Yogurt at the end at the small shop was a really nice finish. Wonderful experience.
