Discover this pristine, protected area as you paddle, snorkel, kayak sail and Stand-Up Paddle board through the turquoise waters and sheltered lagoons of South Water Caye Marine Reserve. After dusk, your time will be spent in small, family style island lodges. You will have the opportunity to enjoy fresh Belizean fare, a comfortable bed and shower, and breathtaking sunsets from the hammock on your deck. This itinerary also includes an inland overnight adventure to the Tropical Education Centre and an optional specially-arranged night tour of the Belize Zoo.

From here we explore the Atoll by SUP and sea kayak with motorboat support.

The focus for today morning will be snorkelling and kayaking. Your first session begins with a thorough demonstration as well as beginner to advanced instruction. You also have the option to use Stand Up Paddle Boards (SUPS) instead of kayaks. In the afternoon you’ll paddle to around the island to explore the sheltered lagoon and mangrove habitat. Return for an evening on SW Caye.

Location: Tobacco Caye Paradise
Accommodation: Hotel
Meals Included: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
For the next stage of the adventure, we head to the 17,000 acre Southwater Caye Marine Reserve on the Southern Barrier Reef. Based from Tobacco Caye Paradise Lodge, our playground for the next two days is a fairy-tale setting of palm trees, coral islands, mangrove forests and abundant coral reefs. IN the evening we take in the friendly laid back ‘Island Culture’ of Belize
Day 5 : South Water Caye Marine Reserve
Location: Tobacco Caye Paradise
Accommodation: Hotel
Meals Included: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
You’ll have plenty of time to kayak, snorkel, fish, and enjoy the scenery and marine life of Belize. You’ll explore different regions of the Barrier reef including the inner and outer walls, patch and fringing reefs, mangrove ranges, and protected lagoons. For diving enthusiasts or those who’d like to try diving for a first time, we can arrange Discover Scuba courses or diving sessions with advance notice. As you explore by kayak, it is not uncommon for the routes to cross those of the fishermen who make their living from the sea. These candid interactions with the locals can be fun and provide us with extraordinary insight into a way of life very different from our own.
Day 6 : South Water Caye Marine Reserve
Location: Tobacco Caye
