Where better to indulge in some pre-Christmas celebrations than the spectacular coast of Cornwall with its rugged cliffs, picturesque fishing harbours, seaside towns and relaxed pace of life. With plenty of entertainment at the hotel, this is sure to be a memorable and fun weekend away!
Itinerary
Coach
Experience a Festive Turkey & Tinsel Cornish Seaside Break on the Coast
Day 1
After joining the coach, we make our way to our hotel and check in. Later we enjoy a mulled wine reception together.
Day 2 – Optional excursion to Falmouth (£8pp)
On our optional half-day excursion, we have the chance to visit Falmouth, a charming port town and popular sailing destination with a proud seafaring history and fine beaches. It is home to the deepest harbour in Western Europe and other attractions include Pendennis Castle and the National Maritime Museum Cornwall. Tonight we enjoy a 4-course dinner served with a complimentary glass of wine back at the hotel.
Day 3 – Padstow
We head to the quaint fishing port of Padstow on our half-day excursion. The town is renowned as a great foodie destination and its connection to chef Rick Stein (whose restaurant is based locally). Lovely views can be enjoyed from the harbour which is surrounded by craft and gift shops, cafés and restaurants. Back at the hotel this afternoon, we enjoy tea and Christmas cake.
Day 4
After breakfast, we check out of our hotel and head for home.
