We booked a trip to...

23-May-2023

We booked a trip to Venice at the stand in the port of Porec, one day before departure. The price was m.m. not excessive and even cheaper than online (€74). Check-in went smoothly in high season, but you definitely shouldn't leave it at the last minute as the queue was relatively long even in May. The crossing didn't take 2.45 hours as announced, but over 4 hours because a canal in Venice was closed and the return trip also took over 3 hours.

The office personnel were firstly very friendly, the office itself was awesome. The ferry itself was also very fine but the employees there were very friendly, kindhearted and helpful. They are experts in upholding a good ambience on board of the Prince of Venice. It was even my second time with this company Summarized Compas is a awesome company and I would recommend this company when you want to go to Venice from Istria.

I went on a trip...

25-Jun-2022

I went on a trip to Venice with this office. The price was not small, but it included a guide and a trip on a fast catamaran. If you want to visit Venice on your own, traveling from Croatia, this is an ideal option, but the office provides additional attractions for an additional EUR 100 per person, EUR 17, transfer from the port and St. Mark's Square, - you can get there yourself, or, EUR 30, a 30-minute gondola cruise for 4 or 5 people I recommend it if anyone hasn't tried it. 23 euros dinner in a restaurant, pasta with sauce and 1 scoop of ice plus drinks, I have no opinion because Venice is expensive, but more demanding people probably won't like it. And a taxi motorboat transfer to the port for EUR 30, this is also an attraction that I recommend, a nice adventure

Whilst staying in Pula, Croatia,...

14-Jul-2023

Whilst staying in Pula, Croatia, we wanted to take a day trip to Venice, and Kompass helped us do just that, drawing on their years of local knowledge and experience. The return fare was relatively cheap, and we opted to take advantage of ALL of the additional services offered to us in order to get the most out of our day. These included return water taxi to and from St Mark's Square (saving us a 45-minute walk each way) a gondola ride (an absolute must) lunch in a prebooked restaurant, and the services of 2 incredibly knowledgeable, funny and friendly guides who know exactly how to make the most of every minute in this beautiful city. This combination of services was approximately 100€ per head, which weren't mandatory but were an absolute bargain when you consider that the alternative is to navigate your own way around the city and try to ensure that you are back at the port in time to sail. **Top Tip** Make sure you have cash as the catamaran has no wifi to accept card payments. The staff, however, did accept IOU's to allow you time to withdraw cash whilst in Italy. Great customer service. We counted 5 languages spoken. Cannot recommend this company enough.

We were in Venice with...

17-Sep-2023

We were in Venice with Compass from Porec. Everything went really well and we had a very nice day. Points are deducted for what I consider to be exaggerated comments from the tour guide. Compass also offers some program items in Venice itself, such as lunch, gondola rides and boat transfers. We visited the city independently, but many fellow travelers were certainly very satisfied with the all-inclusive package. To each his own. But the tour guide claims all the restaurants are fully booked for months, you would definitely just get lost on foot, Google Maps is hardly available and you would only see the back of the buildings on foot anyway because all the houses are right up to them Going along canals... is simply completely exaggerated and has something of a farmer's trap or a coffee trip.
