Day 1 : ARRIVAL DELHI

Location: Delhi

Upon your arrival at Delhi International airport, please met and greet our tour representative who will assist you with the transfer and with the check-in to your hotel. Get relax after your long journey, perhaps stroll down the busy street of this bustling metropolis and get the first touch of the Indian atmosphere. Dinner at the hotel.

Day 2 : DELHI – MANDAWA (274 km – 6.5 hrs)

Enjoy your luscious breakfast at the hotel and get ready for the morning sightseeing tour of Old and New Delhi. Visit the beautiful historical Jama Masjid – The Masjid-i Jahān-Numā, commonly known as the Friday Mosque and drive past Red Fort, a marvel in red sandstone and the Raj Ghat, memorial to Mahatma Gandhi. The tour will continue to the New part of Delhi, where you visit the Qutab Minar, old minaret built back in the 12th century. The complex has many historical monuments. One of the oldest mosques in India – The Quwwat-Ul- Islam – built from the dressed and carved stones of demolished temples, is situated in this complex. It establishes the political victory of Islam in northern India. The construction of the Qutab Minar is believed to have been started in 1199 by Qutab ud din Aibak and later completed by his successors. Continue to drive past Indian Gate, which was built, a memorial to the Indian army soldiers who died in World War I and the Rashtrapati Bhavan and the Parliament House will offer you insight into the Indian political environment. In the afternoon, you will be departing for Mandawa. Upon your arrival check-in to your hotel and spend the rest of the day at leisure. Dinner at the hotel.

Day 3 : MANDAWA – JAIPUR (170 km – 4 hrs)

This morning, after breakfast, start with a morning sightseeing tour of Mandawa, the city of havelis. Havelis are the renowned mansions of rich Marwari traders, profusely frescoed inside and outside. Some of these frescoes, narrating local stories, are still in great condition. Later depart for Jaipur and en-route stop to visit the mesmerizing town of Nawalgarh, also known for its frescoes and havelis. Upon arrival in Jaipur, at around lunchtime, check-in at your selected hotel and enjoy the remainder of the day free at leisure. Jaipur is known as the ‘Pink City’ because of the terra-cotta-colored lime plaster that coats the old part of the city’s walls, buildings, and temples. Pink is the traditional color of hospitality today, a tribute to Jaipur’s gracious tradition of hospitality. Today, Jaipur is quickly becoming a vibrant economy that is attracting many multinational enterprises to set up shop here. Dinner at the hotel.

Day 4 : JAIPUR

Start the day with an early morning yoga session at the hotel. The 30-to-45-minute-long session includes basic yoga positions and light breathing exercises. Rejuvenate your body and relax your mind and soul. Then enjoy breakfast and head by jeep to the Amber Fort. This is one of the most fascinating Indian forts, comprising a palace of mirrors, a hall of a public audience and many beautiful gardens, all of which give us a glimpse of the majestic life it housed in a bygone era. En route to the fort, make a brief photo stop at Hawa Mahal, the ‘Palace of the Winds’. Then, once inside the Fort, visit the Jag Mandir, or ‘Hall of Victory’, famous for the Sheesh Mahal – a room in which all four walls and the ceiling are completely covered with glittering mirror pieces. Later on, enjoy a rickshaw ride through the colorful bazaars of Jaipur. After lunch, join an afternoon city tour that begins with a visit to the Maharaja's City Palace, the formal residence of the Royal Family, part of which is now a museum. Its Armoury Museum houses an impressive array of pistols, blunderbusses, flintlocks, swords, rifles, and daggers. Later visit the Jantar Mantar, the largest observatory made of stone and marble in the world. The observatory contains 17 large instruments, many of them still in working condition. Enjoy dinner at Diggi Palace, a renovated haveli that dates back to the 1860s. Feel like royalty as you dine surrounded by its spacious rooms and beautifully manicured gardens. End the day with a return transfer to the hotel and dinner at the hotel.

Day 5 : JAIPUR – RANTHAMBORE (196 km – 4 hrs)

This morning, after an energizing breakfast at the hotel, meet our tour representative and drive to Ranthambhore National Park. Upon your arrival check-in to your hotel. Ranthambore reserve is situated in India’s north-western state of Rajasthan, near the town of Sawai Madhopur, midway between Bharatpur and Kota townships. It is surrounded by the Vindhya and Aravali hill ranges and is very near to the outer fringes of the Thar Desert. The entire area has sprawling tracts of the desert and semi-desert vegetation. Originally, a hunting ground of the Maharaja of Jaipur, Ranthambore has declared a game sanctuary in 1955. In 1980, it became a national park and listed among the reserves protected under Project Tiger (1973). Presently the Kaila Devi Sanctuary, also famous for its tigers, and Mansingh Sanctuary also form part of Ranthambore Reserve. In the evening enjoy the dinner at the hotel or stroll down the street and explore the local vibe.

Day 6 : RANTHAMBORE – BHARATPUR (198 km – 5 hrs)

Wake up early in the morning for the morning safari ride to observe the beauty of the Ranthambore´s wilderness. The tour is going to be provided in an open truck to get a real sense of this savage jungle. Drive back to the hotel for breakfast and get ready for departing to Bharatpur, Eastern Gateway to Rajasthan. This vivacious city is home to the famous bird sanctuary, owning more than 364 species of birds from all over the world. Upon your arrival check-in to your hotel and spend the afternoon at leisure until the evening time, where there is a cooking experience planned for you. This will be a great opportunity for you to get an insight into the Indian gastronomy and pick up some knowledge about typical dishes and blending technique of spices.

Day 7 : BHARATPUR – AGRA (55 km – 1 hrs)

Wake up early in the morning to visit the Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary, a UNESCO-listed World Heritage Site. Indigenous water birds and many migratory water birds could be seen in this sanctuary along with larger animals such as sambhars, chital, nilgais and boar. Return to the hotel for breakfast. After replenishing your energy, depart for Agra, and make a stop en route to visit the deserted city of Fatehpur Sikri. This city was built by Emperor Akbar in the 16th century but was deserted 14 years after its founding because of a scarcity of water. Visit the remarkably well-preserved and graceful building of the 'Ghost City', including the Jama Masjid, the tomb of Salim Chisti, the Panch Mahal Palace and other palaces that speak of the grandeur and splendor of the Mughal empire at the height of its power. Continue the drive to Agra and check in on arrival. In the afternoon, visit the world-famous Taj Mahal, erected by Shah Jahan in 1630 for his queen Mumtaz Mahal to enshrine her mortal remains. This architectural marvel is a perfectly proportioned masterpiece fashioned entirely from white marble that stands testimony to the skill of 20,000 craftsmen brought together from Persia, Turkey, France and Italy. This 'Love Poem in Marble' took 17 years to complete. Later proceed to visit the Agra Fort, also built by Emperor Akbar. Constructed with red sandstone, Agra Fort is a breath-taking combination of Islamic and Hindu architecture styles. Once back at the hotel, enjoy your dinner.

Day 8 : AGRA – DEPARTURE DELHI (205 km – 5 hrs)

Enjoy your last breakfast at the hotel, and at indicated time hop-on to your transfer and drive back to Delhi, where you will enjoy a farewell dinner at a local city restaurant. You will have a chance to share your experiences before saying goodbye to your fellow group members. After dinner, hop on your transfer to the airport to catch your flight to your next destination.
