Tour Overview
The Balearic Island of Majorca is a firm favourite with the British holidaymaker, boasting an excellent climate, a fascinating history and culture, and, of course, beautiful sandy beaches, lapped by crystal blue waters. The rugged inland mountain terrain, and the traditional villages perched upon them, provide the perfect contrast to the popular resorts, dotted around the coastline. Each of Majorca’s coasts offer something different, with the ‘Rocky Coast’ to the north to the stunning beaches of the south. This is a truly magnificent isle, waiting to be explored

An optional guided sightseeing tour, by coach and on foot, will introduce you to the most important sights of the city, including the Eixample district as well as the huge Olympic stadium.
We finish the tour on foot at the bustling Las Ramblas, which runs from the Plaza de Catalunya to the Christopher Columbus monument near the harbour at Port Vell.
Here you can explore the cafés and see the mime artists, and from here you will be ideally situated to explore independently the 'Barri Gotic', or Gothic Quarter in the centre of the Old Town, where some of buildings date back to medieval and Roman times.

A steep flight of steps through the caves ends at Lake Martel, considered to be one of the largest subterranean lakes in the world, with beautiful limestone formations, including stalagmites and stalactites.
As part of your journey underground, visitors are accompanied by the sound of musicians performing classical music every hour on a boat.
