Arrive at Lima Airport. A transport service and a representative will pick you up from the airport at the scheduled time to transfer you to your hotel in Lima. The Peruvian capital is a modern metropolis full of history, currently undergoing an exciting process of cultural and economic changes. Barranco and Miraflores Boardwalk Tour, Gastronomic Experience with lunch (private basis)

How about to start the day with a scenic tour of the boardwalk, crossing the bohemian district of Barranco and the modern district of Miraflores, passing by Love Park where you can admire an imposing view of the Pacific Ocean. With our tour, you have all the above, combined with a unique gastronomic experience at a thematic restaurant. Take a part in a cocktail class, where you will learn to prepare the famous pisco sour, and in a cooking class, you make delicious, typical Peruvian dishes. To wrap up this exciting day, enjoy a tasty lunch overlooking the sea. At the end of your tour, transfer back to your hotel.

Overnight in Lima

Breakfast at the hotel. At 6 am, your 4x4 adventure starts departing from your hotel in Lima towards Huancaya. After an hour and a half journey, we will make the first stop at km 101 of the Pan-American Highway, in the valley of the district of Asia. We will spend about half an hour at Huaca Malena, a ceremonial center developed between 700-1100 AD, where burial bundles of pre-Inca cultures were found. We will then take a high-speed ride through the dunes of Asia. The tour continues through the provinces of Cañete and Lunahuana to finally arrive at 1.30 pm at Huancaya, located at 3,554 meters above sea level. This place is a natural retreat known for its beautiful emerald staggered lagoons. After lunch take some time to acclimatize while enjoying the view. At 7 pm, dinner is served at the hotel.

Overnight in Huancaya

After breakfast, our guide will be waiting in the lobby at 8 am and start the exciting full day tour of the Huancaya reserve. Learn about the attractions of this natural refuge on an off-road route through the districts of Vilca, Tanta and the majestic Pariacaca snow-capped mountain, which rise to a height of 5,750 meters above sea level. Contemplate the surrounding areas where you can appreciate the region´s vegetation and geography. Enjoy a picnic en route surrounded by nature and the calm currents of water of the reserve before returning to your hotel in Huancaya at 4 pm. Rest of day at leisure. Dinner is served at the hotel, at 7 pm.

Overnight in Huancaya

You will be picked up at 7 am after breakfast at the hotel to visit the neighbouring district of Laraos, a place with a long history that goes back to pre-Inca times and where a peasant community currently lives. You will visit the Inca platforms, a sign of the Inca presence in this region. Huancaya was an important place during the Empire, considered as a sacred space by the presence of the snow-capped Pariacaca. Even a section of the Qhapaq Ñan - the great network of roads that linked the whole of Tahuantinsuyo - passed through here, connecting the administrative centre of Hatun Xauxa with the sanctuary of Pachacamac. After this 3-hour visit, return to Lima by 4X4; where you will arrive at your selected hotel at 4.30 pm.

Overnight in Lima

After breakfast, you will be transferred to the airport for your return flight. The transfer is unescorted.
