Tour Overview
We explore the snow-dusted peaks and beautiful towns and cities of Austria on this wonderful all-inclusive break. Highlights include the idyllic Tyrolean town of Kitzbühel, the spectacular Krimml Waterfalls and a cheese tasting at a local dairy farm for an authentic flavour of this lovely country. We also enjoy the breathtaking landscapes from a different viewpoint with a scenic boat cruise and a trip on the Ziller Valley Steam Train, surrounded by beautiful rugged mountains.
Itinerary
Day 1 : Zell am See
The picture-postcard town of Zell am See is nestled by the glorious reflective waters of Lake Zell and is surrounded by stunning alpine scenery. The town is popular with visitors all year round and it’s easy to see why! Admire the breathtaking views, enjoy the fresh clear air and stroll through the charming medieval centre, studded with colourful chalets and bursting with Austrian charm.
Day 2 : Salzburg
The stunning city of Salzburg has much beauty to discover, listed a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1997, its wonderful architecture and breath-taking setting make it one of the busiest cities in Europe and a fantastic coach holiday destination, all year round.

Nestled in picturesque Zell am Ziller, the Tyrolean-style Gasthof Kirchenwirt Hotel features renovated bedrooms with a balcony, TV and free Wi-Fi, plus a restaurant, beer garden and sauna.
Hotel Bon Alpina, Igls (JG3 rating)
The Bon Alpina boasts a lovely location in the Austrian Tyrol town of Igls, with fantastic views of the Patscherkofel mountain. This modern hotel features a bar, restaurant, wellness area, indoor and heated outdoor swimming pools and free Wi-Fi, while the comfortable en-suite rooms offer satellite TV and air-conditioning.
Please note: in Austria, a twin/double room will have one double bed base structure with two separate mattresses and separate bed linen for each mattress.
JG3 rating
Hotels with a JG3 rating tend to be a more formal style of hotel, often part of a hotel chain, or are very welcoming family-owned properties. Generally, they offer a greater range of facilities and services, and bedrooms tend to be a little more spacious with additional features. Public areas are larger and include lounge seating, bar and restaurant with good quality food served either buffet style or waiter service.
