Climb aboard for a truly magical Christmas experience on The Polar Express; a festive adventure on the Wensleydale Railway for the whole family to enjoy! Sit back, relax and indulge in some delicious treats and hot chocolate as you sing along to Christmas carols. As if the journey wasn’t cosy enough, all passengers are invited to wear pyjamas on the train to make the experience even more special!
During our break away we also visit the wonderful city of York, all decked out for the season with glittering festive lights and the perfect chance for some Christmas shopping.

Book your next trip to York, one of Europe's most popular historic cities, renowned for its Roman, Viking and Medieval heritage with lots of attractions for visitors to enjoy. The streets are full of historic buildings, traditional shops and cafés, and a number of museums and art galleries.
The city’s historic sites are impressive, contained within the city walls which date back to Roman times and are themselves an integral part of York’s unique character.
