Join us on a PNG surfing adventure at the secluded and remote Lissenung Island Resort in Kavieng, located in the beautiful New Ireland Province. Enjoy consistent, uncrowded waves and amazing scuba diving. At the end of each day relax in your private bungalow and take in the tranquillity of the island. Enjoy the surf spots located in close prximity to the resort. There are a a number of left and right-handed breaks in the area and boat transfers are included. Your local surf guide monitors conditions daily for the best working breaks. Waves average between 4-6 foot in season and most breaks are exclusive to the resort. Surfing in Kavieng is not recommended for beginners as all surf breaks are over coral reef. For scuba divers the diving in Kavieng is AMAZING and world-class. Explore the underwater world between surfs. When diving in Kavieng you will experience wrecks, reef walls, drift dives and heaps of marine life!!! You can arrange all your dives and equipment directly with the island staff or book it in advance. This trip is ideal for both surfers, scuba divers, non-surfers as well as couples looking for an active tropical getaway.
