Best trekking ever

22-Oct-2021

The guide met us at the airport, briefed us at the hotel and throughout the rest of the holiday and with the help of the porter group, ensured that things ran smoothly. This extended to ensuring that all food was made correctly at both the lodges and restaurants, that we all had accomodation for every night, that we were all looked after on the trekking days and towards the end of the trek iteself, altering the initial plan so that we had one more day in Pokhara. Similar to above, thanks must go to the guides and porters, who made the trek a very enjoyable one and one that I will never forget.

Fantastic Annapurna

03-Dec-2021

Thank you for a fantastic Annapurna Sanctuary trekking holiday to Poon Hill and Annapurna basecamp (ABC) at 4130m. The whole process from the initial viewing of the trip(s) on the Peregrine Treks’ website, downloading the trip details in a single pdf document, booking, invoicing, meet-up in country and organisation of the trek was extremely professional throughout. Despite the unusual weather of crystal clear mornings and clouded peaks by the middle of the day, we were able to see the mountains at their best, including fresh snow as we got higher! A massive thanks has to go to our head guide Nima who made it all possible on-the-ground in-country.

Great adventure

29-Dec-2021

Guides as led by Nima were great - always a leader in front and at the back. Suggest stay extra days at the group hotel in Kathmandu - most did and great to relax by the pool and do some sightseeing.

Walking in rocked mountain

10-Nov-2021

Walking and mountains are great as everyone else has said in previous reviews. It was cold - the notes say the lodges will "generally have heated dining areas". Not in our experience. Only 2 did and they were not the ones at the top of the hill where it is too expensive to bring in wood to burn. So bring your warmest clothes and don't forget your feet which will suffer from the cold the most. Also be aware that only the Peregrine Treks and Tours’ guide will be at the airport to meet you so anyone else picking up your bag intends to rip you off.
