Istanbul to Mount Nemrut tour offers a look into the ancient and deep history of the southeastern Turkey region. Departing from Istanbul this tour offers a look at ancient ruins that only give us a glimpse of the past and well as the well-preserved building that date back thousands of years. Sanliurfa is a living city with religiously historical significance to both Christians and Muslims. The city of Harran is a modern city with ancient homes protected throughout. Gobekli Tepe is a wonderful archaeological find, with statues, monuments and icons that date back thousands of years.

Day 1 : Nemrut

You will be picked up from your hotel and be transferred to the Istanbul Airport. And then, you fly to Adiyaman. When you arrive to Adiyaman and you transferred to the hotel, you can enjoy rest of the day at leisure. You stay overnight in Adiyaman.
Day 2 : Gobeklitepe
Location: Göbeklitepe
Meals Included: Breakfast, Lunch
Early in the morning, you will start your day and after the short drive to entrance you go on a 30 minutes hike to the summit of the Mount Nemrut. You can enjoy sunrise between collosal size statues and heads of the king and gods. We also visit Arsemia which was once the capital of Commagene Kingdom. Then, we will visit ancient Septimus Severus Bridge and the Karakus Tumulus.
After some free time, we depart from Nemrut and drive to the Sanliurfa. Sanliurfa was known as Edessa in ancient period. Edessa was always known as one of the most important Holy Sites of the world. You will travel to archeological dig at Gobeklitepe. Gobeklitepe as known as “The World’s First Temple of Mankind” and its about 12.000 years before the day. After that, you visit Sanliurfa Archeologic and Mosaic Museum which is the largest museum complex in Turkey. Then you visit the Pools of Abraham and the cave where local tradition says the Prophet Abraham was born.
After the tour, we drive to the Sanliurfa Airport and we fly back to Istanbul. You will be picked up from airport and transferred to your hotel.
