After enjoying a satisfying breakfast, we will commence the day with a concise pre-tour briefing to ensure you're well-prepared for the upcoming adventure. Our first destination is Giza and Saqqara, where you will be enthralled by the remarkable ancient wonders.
Our initial stop is Giza, which was established around 4600 years ago as a majestic necropolis for the pharaoh Khufu, also known as Cheops. Renowned for his grandeur, Khufu commissioned the construction of a monumental tomb that would surpass all others. The Pyramid of Khufu, towering at an impressive height of 500 feet and boasting a base of 750 feet, stands as a breathtaking testament to human engineering. Crafted from colossal stone blocks adorned with a resilient limestone casing, this awe-inspiring structure has endured over time, despite the stripping of its outer covering. Alongside it, the smaller pyramids of Khafre (Chephern) and Menkaure (Mycerinus) punctuate the desert landscape with their sheer magnitude. Beholding these colossal edifices emerging from the desert is an unforgettable experience. You will have the opportunity to venture inside one of the pyramids (please note that limited tickets are available, and access cannot be guaranteed) and partake in a memorable camel ride. Adjacent to the pyramids, the enigmatic Sphinx stands sentinel, its gaze steadfastly watching over the surroundings. Our expert guide will accompany you on a captivating tour around the Sphinx, and you will also have free time to stroll around and capture stunning photographs.
Our journey continues as we make our way to Saqqara, situated approximately 25 kilometers south of Cairo. Dominating the horizon is the Step Pyramid of Djeser (Zoser), constructed around 4700 years ago, which is believed to be the earliest attempt at pyramid construction by the ancient Egyptians. Saqqara's expansive 7-kilometer expanse of desert unveils a treasure trove of pyramids, temples, and tombs, providing ample opportunity to delve into the fascinating history of pyramid building in Egypt. You will have ample time to explore this remarkable site, soaking in its architectural marvels and immersing yourself in the legacy of the past.
Following this enlightening exploration, we will return to our Cairo hotel, where you will spend the night.

After having breakfast, we will embark on our Cairo tour, which encompasses several exciting destinations. Our first stop will be the Egyptian Museum, renowned for its extensive assortment of artifacts from Egypt's rich history. One of the highlights of the museum is the renowned King Tutankhamun display. Following our visit to the museum, we will proceed to the Citadel, a remarkable complex comprising mosques and palaces, offering a splendid panoramic view of the city. Lastly, we will explore the Khan al Khalili bazaar, a captivating labyrinthine market that provides a glimpse into the past and ensures a delightful shopping experience for souvenirs.

This morning, we will arrange your transfer to Cairo airport for your flight to the vibrant capital of Jordan, Amman . Upon your arrival in Amman, our staff will be there to greet you and accompany you to the Dead Sea. There, you will have the rest of the day to unwind in the buoyant waters and enjoy the sensation of weightlessness. To maximize your experience at the Dead Sea, we suggest taking a morning flight so that you can have the entire afternoon to relax and rejuvenate.

Today, we will embark on a journey along the captivating coastline of the Dead Sea, passing through deep canyons and gorges where they converge with the sea. As we continue southwards, we will traverse the salt flats at the southern tip of the Dead Sea before ascending through the mountains towards Petra. En route, we will make a delightful stop at the Dana Biosphere Reserve, Jordan's largest nature reserve. Here, you can take a short walk amidst the enchanting landscapes and hills of the reserve, offering breathtaking views of valleys and hills along the various trails near the restored Dana village. During the spring season, the terrain surprises visitors with its vibrant greenery and blossoming flowers.
After a pleasant lunch break and a leisurely stroll, we will resume our journey, making a stop at the impressive crusader castle of Shobak. Eventually, we will arrive in Petra by evening. Depending on the departure date of the tour and local schedules, you may have the option to partake in the awe-inspiring Petra by Night tour, which provides a remarkable and atmospheric introduction to Petra. During this experience, you will walk through the Siq, illuminated by the warm glow of hundreds of candles, until you reach the Treasury.

Our day begins with an immersive exploration of the enchanting Rose Red city of Petra, now recognized as one of the Modern 7 Wonders of the World. We will embark on a captivating walk through the winding Siq, leading us to the awe-inspiring Treasury. Accompanied by our knowledgeable guide, we will delve into the fascinating history of this magnificent site and learn about the ingenious Nabatean people who constructed it. Along the way, we will have the opportunity to explore various caves and tombs, each holding its own allure.
Afterward, you will have ample time to continue your personal exploration of Petra. You may choose to undertake a rewarding hike up to the colossal Monastery, meticulously carved into the cliffs overlooking the Jordan Valley. Alternatively, you can opt to ascend to the High Place of Sacrifice, which offers panoramic vistas of the surrounding landscape. The choice is yours to make, as you immerse yourself further in the wonders of this remarkable UNESCO World Heritage Site.
In the afternoon, we will venture into the breathtaking desert scenery of Wadi Rum, where we will spend an unforgettable night under the starry skies, reveling in the warm hospitality of the Bedouin people. Our comfortable camp is ideally situated amidst the captivating landscape, nestled between the sand dunes and rocky cliffs, far away from any bustling roads or traffic. You will have the option to sleep in a traditional goat hair tent, complete with a cozy bed and all necessary bedding, or if you prefer, you can opt for a sleeping bag and find a secluded spot to slumber under the celestial canopy.
Overnight: Wadi Rum Bedouin Camp

Following a delightful breakfast at the camp, we will commence our adventure with a thrilling jeep safari through the vast sands and majestic "jebels" (mountains) of Wadi Rum. Along the way, we will make captivating stops to climb sand dunes, marvel at the peculiar rock formations, and witness the awe-inspiring sight of a spectacular rock bridge.
Immersing ourselves in the local Bedouin culture, we will engage in activities inspired by their traditions. Accompanied by a knowledgeable shepherd, we will walk alongside his flock of sheep and goats, eventually arriving at a traditional Bedouin tent. Here, we will have the unique opportunity to participate in the preparation of a traditional lunch. From shearing the sheep and goats' hair to milking, grinding grains, making bread, and roasting coffee, we will experience the various elements of Bedouin life firsthand. As we engage in these activities, we will truly get a sense of the nomadic Bedouin lifestyle.
After this enriching experience, we will return to our camp by jeep, and then embark on a northbound journey along the Desert Highway, back to Amman. If you desire an extension to your tour and wish to spend additional time by the Red Sea, we offer the option of an extension to Aqaba upon concluding our time in Wadi Rum.

You will have some free time in Amman today before we come to your hotel and take you to the airport for your departure. If your flight is in the late afternoon or evening, there are additional sightseeing tours available today. One option is a visit to the Baptism Site at Bethany on the Jordan River.
