Huaraz is a city in Peru's northern Callejón de Huaylas valley. Capital of the Ancash Region, the city sits more than 3,000 meters above sea level, with the snow-capped peaks of the Cordillera Blanca range forming its dramatic eastern skyline. Encompassing much of the Cordillera Blanca is Huarascán National Park, home to Andean condors and jaguars as well as Peru's tallest mountain, Huarascán.

Day 1 : Arrival In Huaraz

Location: Huaraz

Accommodation: Hotel

Reception at the bus station and transfer to the hotel. After check-in at the hotel, we will have free time to rest.
** Note: we recommend arriving before 8 in the morning.
Morning:. Laguna Querococha - Chavín de Huántar - Museo Nacional de Chavín
Breakfast at the hotel. 9:00 am: Tours south of Huaraz, we will know the Valley of Conchucos and the ancient temple of Chavín de Huantar. We will pass Andean towns of Recuay and Catac. We will arrive at the Querococha Lagoon, located at the foot of the Pucaraju and Yanamarey mountains. In addition we will observe the map of Peru (geological fault). We will pass through the Cawish tunnel, which connects the Conchuchos area with the Callejón de Huaylas, we will also appreciate the Christ of the Andes. We will descend towards the Conchucos Valley, passing through Tambillos, Máchac, Quercos, and we arrive at Chavín. We will visit the millennial temple of Chavín de Huantar, we will visit its galleries, quadrangular and circular atriums, nailed head, monolithic sandeel, cover of the falconids, Choquechinchay altar. Finally visit the modern Chavín National Museum where we will appreciate ceramics, photographic galleries, Tello Obelisk, the Monolithic Lanzón in replica, Cabezas Clavas and other objects belonging to the Chavín culture. 7:00 pm: Arrival in Huaraz.

Day 2: Nevado Pastoruri - Puya Raimondi

Location: Pastoruri Glacier

Accommodation: Hotel

Meals Included: Breakfast

Breakfast at the hotel. 9:00 am: Adventure tours, we will go south of the Callejon de Huaylas enjoying the beautiful scenery of the Cordillera Blanca. We will pass through picturesque towns of: Recuay, Catac, Ticapampa. We will arrive at the Carpa sector, we will visit the Pumapampa water hole, also known as the "fountain of youth". We will know the Puya Raimondi (the most beautiful exponent of the high-Andean flora), cave paintings. We will make a walk of approximately 45 minutes until we reach the snowy Pastoruri. In this place you will be able to enjoy the contact with the snow, and frozen lagoon that is located on the 5 200 msnm. 5:30 pm: Arrival in Huaraz.
Overnight in Huaraz

Day 3 : Laguna 69 Hike – Departure From Huaraz

Location: Laguna 69 Hike

Meals Included: Breakfast

After your breakfast, we will pick you up from your hotel with our private transport and travelers through the Callejón de Huaylas. Arriving at Yungay we take the road to the east side to the mountains that leads us to the entrance of the Huascarán National Park. 8:00 am: After passing through the famous lagoons of Llanganuco (Chinancocha and Orconcocha) we continue another 20 minutes by transport until we reach Cebollapampa. 8:30 am: Cebollapampa: We begin to walk 2.5 - 4 hours to Laguna 69 (4600 m). After walking back to Cebollapampa in about 1.5 - 2 hours we return to Huaraz by transportation. If there is enough time, you can also visit the so-called "Campo Santo" of the ancient city of Yungay, which was buried by mud and avalanche stones caused by the 1970 earthquake. 7:00 pm: Arrival in Huaraz
At the appropriate time, transfer to the bus station.
