Yala safari Tour

19-Mar-2024

We booked with Yala safari. Our Guide & Driver Chandana never forget his Name remember it . Picked us up punctually and we were one of the first on yala gate for entry due to skillful riding. I am super pleased with our guide. We saw leopard 4 times during our full day trip. Actually, we managed to see all the wanted animals - except the bear during the first half already. The guide was always communicating with other drivers and massing all the jeeps together was hilarious. I had no problem tipping the driver as the service was top class. Even managed to see a tusker – Kumara . There are only 4-5 tuskers in yala and we were eating breakfast while he appeared 10-15m away from us in the bushes. For the lunch we had delicious rice & curry which the SriLankan Style

01-Jan-2024

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our 5-Day Essential tour with Stelaranholidays. They went above and beyond to ensure a stress-free experience. The Yala safari was just one of the activities organized by Stelaranholidays. We also visited a turtle hatchery, went on a Madu River Safari, explored a Mask factory, toured a Spice Garden, and visited the Galle Dutch fort. Whether it was cultural, religious, adventurous, beach-related, or nature-focused, Sri Lanka had it all. Despite being informed about the difficulties of the roads leading to the Yala safari entrance, our guide Chandana and our jeep driver Kumara skillfully navigated through, providing us with a fantastic and unforgettable experience. We saw bears, leopards, deer, elephants, and peacocks, thoroughly enjoying this tour. Throughout the tour, we experienced various aspects of Sri Lanka, always feeling safe, secure, and well-informed. Chandana, our tour guide, was a warm, intelligent, and sensitive individual."

This one must be the best Tour company stelaranholidays Highly recommendation. Specially Thanks our tour guide Chandana We chose this based on the reviews and they were spot on. We had Kumara as a wildlife jeep driver he was wonderful. We saw 02 leopards. I loved the way Kumara talked about the animals - you could tell he was genuinely interested. He also stopped the jeep twice to pick up plastic water bottles. And once we had left the Safari Park, he stopped to let us see and cobra and a big yellow and black tortoise by the road. we were so happy with this company

The park was close. Alternative smaller park adjacent to it was inadequate with no wildlife at all. And of course, I was not notified before paying them full overpriced fee but just when I realized that GPS is showing different location and show them the evidence. They toured 8-9 km cumulative, and that was it. Another tourist bite and rip off.
