Tour Overview

Our small group tour to Palestine is a great introduction to the region, taking in the historical highlights, bustling cities and rural villages dotted among the tree-covered hillsides.

Travel to Bethlehem, home of the nativity and also a bustling Arab city with the separation wall cutting through. From here visit historical Hebron and rural Battir before heading for Jerusalem, the ancient, religious city fought over throughout millennia. Back in the West Bank visit tiny pretty Taybeh and the winery before exploring the alleyways of the old city of Nablus. Travel to Nazareth from where Roman ruins, the Sea of Galilee and the Golan Heights are within reach.

This small group tour crosses borders and checkpoints, visits old and new sites and stays in some charming accommodation while introducing you to this beautiful region.

** The May tour includes an extra day in Jericho (day 2). This day is not included in the November tour which has a cost of £2950 pp.

Very impressed so far with our first experience with Regent. We were looking for a specific type of Norwegian fjord cruise and having tried a couple of other companies we contacted Regent and spoke to the wonderfully helpful and friendly Joanne Wheeler. She quickly understood our holiday and tight date requirements and wasted no time in getting an itinerary out to us. The size of ship, destinations and choice of excursions was just what we were looking for. Joanne and her colleague Rebecca have been super efficient in taking our booking and answering any queries we have raised. We are so impressed with the service we have received and feeling relaxed that we are going to enjoy an amazing holiday. We will post another review on our return in June.

We have used ITC for many years to plan exceptional holiday. When we decided to go to Iceland our ITC agent, Nick Upperton, told us that Regent Holidays were part of the same group and that he would get them to contact me. Almost immediately Emma Brown from Regent was in touch and after hearing our initial thoughts for the holiday she put together a fabulous itinerary including ideal local flights, a great hotel and some amazing tours. We had fantastic time in Iceland it was timed to perfection and was so straightforward and ideal for us. Thank you Emma for your friendly and professional approach and your in depth knowledge of the country, you certainly know your business. Once again we have wonderful memories from using this brilliant company.

16-Nov-2023

In mid October 2023 I embarked on an epic two week trip to Central Asia and the Caucasus with Regent Holidays taking in a whistle stop tour that included Kazakhstan (Almaty), Tajikistan (Dushanbe), Uzbekistan (Tashkent and Samarkand), Kyrgyzstan (Bishkek), Azerbaijan (Baku), Georgia (Tbilisi) and, very briefly, Armenia! From the point where the trip was booked in the Spring of 2023 to the final flight home the support offered by Regent Holidays was exemplary.

Regent are professional and knowledgeable about the places you visit with them in their small group tours. The small groups are excellent for getting to know your fellow travellers and the Regent personnel. Regent are always helpful and willing to spend time with the individual to discuss their queries. Their people are experienced and familiar with the countries which are their speciality and they are more than happy to share that experience with you. Would highly recommend Regent.

We thoroughly enjoyed out holiday...

20-Nov-2023

We thoroughly enjoyed out holiday in Transylvania on the Halloween Group Tour. Our guide/driver Vlad was excellent, so knowledgable about all aspects of our tour. A definite highlight was his suggested trip on the Transgfagarasan Highway, a glorious drive through autumnal coloured forests where we saw brown bears. Vlad had thought to bring apples to feed them from the mini van! All the hotels were excellent and we got to try so many traditional dishes. Regent's organisation was very efficient. Our only complaint would be that BA cancelled our flight, changing us onto a late evening arrival. But Vlad came up trumps, giving us a midnight tour of Bucharest so we didn't miss out. We enjoyed the Halloween aspects and luckily didn't get to meet Dracula! We would recommend this very special holiday

Memorable holidays mainly in Central Asia. Air travel, hotels and ground arrangements all work out perfectly and never had any problems. Special thanks to Carl Meadows for all the hard work converting our plans into truly wonderful experiences.

Not entirely as advertised. Our flights did not match supplied itinerary. Our journey home was split in to three flights not the two listed on itinerary. My luggage was lost on one flight and then on the flight back to London my son’s baggage was lost. I contacted Regent to explain loss and didn’t even receive a courtesy reply to check how we were. I also feel we received no advice on our destination. On arrival it was explained to us that it would be dark 24/7 during our stay. We paid for superior rooms in Tromso and Longyearbyen and I requested rooms with a view. We were sorely disappointed with both hotels. Both rooms were very small with no view and nowhere to lay our suitcase. On the positive side both hotels did provide tea making facilities in the room. Arrived home two days ago and have still not heard from Regent regarding our lost luggage. I would assume they might offer some help with the claims process but obviously not.

07-Sep-2023

A very disappointing experience from a supposed ‘specialist’ tailor made tour operator. This is a completely false claim. Our Norway trip was almost destroyed by Regent’s lack of knowledge and advice and their lack of care when they had messed things up was extraordinary. Do it yourself or find someone else is my advice.
