Itinerary
Meet our representative at the airport and fly to Cagliari, Sardinia where you’ll meet your Saga tour manager and transfer to the locally rated 4-star Hotel Mariano IV in Oristano for an overnight stay. Tonight enjoy a welcome dinner and drinks and get to know your fellow solo travellers. D
Day 2 Oristano-Alghero
This morning an included excursion reveals the spectacular cliffs of Capo Caccia. Later, arrive in Alghero and transfer to the locally rated 4-star Hotel Catalunya in Alghero, where you'll stay for two nights. This afternoon enjoy a pleasant stroll through the medieval centre of Alghero, within easy reach of your hotel. B
Day 3 Alghero
Perhaps enjoy an optional excursion to Torralba and the Church of the Santissima Trinita. B, D
Day 4 Alghero-Calvi
Contrast the scenery of the two islands today as you transfer from Alghero to Calvi, Corsica by coach and ferry. Stay for the next four nights at the locally rated 4-star Hotel L'Abbaye in Calvi. Dinner is included tonight. B, D
Day 5 Calvi
Enjoy an included orientation tour of Calvi with its huge medieval citadel this morning. The afternoon is free to relax and explore your surroundings. B
Day 6 Corsican mountains and Corte
Today, take a trip into the mountains to the former capital of the island, Corte. B
Day 7 Calvi
An optional excursion visits Ile Rousse, named after the islets that blush a deep russet red in the sunset. This laid back seaside town has beaches of white sand, and a bustling marketplace with cafes in the village square. The nearby Parc de Saleccia is a landscaped botanic garden set in the heart of the Corsican Maquis. Dinner is included tonight. B, D
Day 8 Calvi-Porto Cervo
Today travel to Porto Cervo where you spend the next three nights at the locally rated 4-star Hotel Luci di la Muntagne. B, D
Day 9 Emerald Coast
This morning join an included excursion that visits exclusive resorts along the Emerald Coast including Baia Sardinia. Enjoy the afternoon at leisure. B, D
Day 10 Porto Cervo
A full-day optional excursion heads to Aggius. In the company of a local guide, visit the village and its museums, and enjoy a spot of wine tasting before heading back to the hotel. B, D.
Day 11 Porto Cervo to Cagliari
Travel to Cagliari, stopping en route for lunch (not included), and stay one last night at the locally rated 4-star Hotel Regina Margherita. Look forward to a farewell dinner tonight. B, D.
Day 12 Cagliari-UK
Travel to Cagliari airport for your return flight home. B
