Experience a nostalgic trip by steam on Norfolk’s longest narrow gauge railway which runs between the historic market town of Aylsham and the bustling town of Wroxham, at the heart of the Norfolk Broads. Originally built on the trackbed of the former Great Eastern Railway, the line opened in 1880 and survived for passenger travel until 1952 and closed until it was reopened as a tourist attraction in 1990.

We then explore the Norfolk Broads with a cruise passing the picturesque villages and windmills that dot this wetland. Our vessel is the Southern Comfort, a double-decked paddle boat, purpose built for cruising the Broads. Just had a Holiday to Weston Super Mare and stayed at The Great Atlantic Hotel. It was OK but the Lift is out of order and not likely to be working any time soon. Food was ok too.The journey was also OK but a bit cramped. Driver was pleasant and the coach changes were efficient.
