The Ghorepani Poon Hill is situated out of Pokhara in the Annapurna region of the Himalaya mountains. Considered a relatively very easy trek, we still recommend you work on your fitness level before you arrive in Nepal. Especially if you are heading for this faster, 3 days trek. 3 Days Poon Hill trek is good however if you really don’t have a long holiday but still want to go to Poon Hill (3,210m), considered a must-visit viewpoint in the Annapurna region of Nepal. Particularly popular for its stunning sunrise and sunset over Annapurna and Dhaulagiri's view. Itis also possible to take a flight to Pokhara from Kathmandu and drive straight on to the starting point of this trek (2 hours drive from Pokhara) if you really prefer to maximize your time. Day 1 : Drive To Nayapul (1,000M) & Trek To Ulleri (1,960M) Duration: 5-6 Hours.

Location: Ulleri

Today, we will drive to Nayapul, where we start our trek from. The drive takes 2 hours to Nayapul (42km) by private car/jeep. we start the trek from Nayapul along the trail ascends through beautiful rice, maize, and millet farms of locals villages. trekking along the main trail of Birethanti passed a small waterfall. The trail leads us to Sudami and then we steadily walk the side of the valley we reach Hile village were we stop for a lunch break. we will walk for about 2hour to reach Ulleri.

Day 2 : Trek From Ulleri To Ghorepani (2,860M) Duration: 5-6 Hours

Location: Ghode Pani

Today, we start our walk following up the trail goes steep up for 20 minutes through a few stone steps ( 3000 stone steps). we follow the trail through cultivated fields with and the remaining trail goes inside blooming rhododendron and oak forest to Nangethanti. In the winter season, the path can be covered with snow and spring rhododendron blooming (March to May). after following the trail through a lush pink flowering rhododendron forest we cross a small bridge before reaching the village of Ghorepani where enormous peaks, such as Dhaulagiri, Annapurna South, Hiunchuli, and Annapurna loom in the background. A fantastic place to sit and take in the exquisite views.

Day 3 : Hike Up To Poon Hill (3,210M) & Trek Down To Nayapul - Drive To Pokhara Duration: 6-7 Hours.

Location: Pokhara

Accommodation: Hotel

Meals Included: Breakfast, Lunch

A pre-dawn start sees us trekking to Poon Hill arriving before sunrise in order to catch the amazing transformation of the towering peaks as they are exposed to the ever-changing light of day. This is one of the best locations to capture the beauty of the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri Ranges. We will then make our way back to Nayapul through forests of bamboo where our vehicle will be waiting to take us back to Pokhara where we stay the night. Breakfast and Lunch included.

Yes, you can get on arrival tourist visa at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu. Most of the people can obtain visa on entry to Nepal. There are some countries visa will need to be organised prior to travelling. $30 USD for 15 days of visa from the date of issue, $50 USD for 30 days and $125 USD for 90 days tourist visa.You can apply visa online.

If you have limited time for trekking , then this is the best trek for you! You can also spend some more days around Pokhara. The trail is very tourist friendly, appropriate for all ages. Also the weather was great and clearing. We will definitely come back!
