Highlights
Itinerary
Day 1
Location: London
Your around the world private jet tour begins when a chauffeur arrives to drive you from your home to the private jet terminal at Stansted Airport. Here you’ll be greeted by your dedicated tour managers, operations director and cabin crew who’ll look after you throughout this globe-trotting tour. Once on board, we’ll fly across the Atlantic to Rio de Janeiro, arriving in the evening. We’ll then have time to freshen and up and relax in our elegant hotel ahead of our exciting day tomorrow.
Day 2
Location: Rio de Janeiro
We start the day with a signature Rio experience - riding the railway up Corcovado Mountain to stand at the foot of the Christ the Redeemer statue and look out over the city, beaches and island-studded ocean below. The train climbs the forested slopes of Tijuca National Park, with ocean and city views along the way.
Afterwards, back at sea level, we’ll jump into open-top jeeps and return to Tijuca for a private tour of Rio’s own rainforest, stopping at viewpoints over the city before driving past legendary Rio beaches on the way to a lunch on the beachfront. Our first day in Rio ends on a high at the elite Rio Jockey Club. With exclusive use of an outdoor terrace for dinner and drinks, we’ll have grandstand views as the races get underway on the famous track below us.
Day 3
Location: Rio de Janeiro
This morning we’ll head to downtown Rio for a panoramic city tour. Away from its famous powder soft sands, Rio offers grand colonial architecture and elegant Renaissance facades, and a few surprises like a white 42-arched aqueduct reminiscent of ancient Rome. We’ll stop at the foot of Sugarloaf Mountain and take a private cable car to the summit, gathering for cocktails and bird’s-eye views across to Corcovado Mountain and the long sweep of Copacabana Beach.
This afternoon is for leisure where you can save your energy for this evening’s festivities. You might want to pack something fabulously flamboyant for our ‘farewell to Rio’ party, held in an impressive colonial house in the heart of Tijuca forest. Starting with cocktails and canapés we’ll sit down to a lavish gala meal, after which we’ll turn up the tempo with a full Rio carnival experience laid on just for us. Expect drinks, dancing and eye-popping costumes, all with the accompaniment of a live Samba band.
Day 4
Location: Rio de Janeiro
Waving goodbye to Rio this morning, we board our private jet and fly to one of the most famous yet isolated destinations on earth - a place that’s hard to reach by commercial aircraft - Easter Island. We’ll touch down in the afternoon and head straight to the island’s finest hotel where a warm Polynesian welcome will be waiting.
Day 5
Location: Easter Island
This morning brings our first encounter with the Moai, mysterious monolithic statues that have watched over this landscape for hundreds of years. There’s time to ponder their enigmatic, elongated features before we drive to Orango, centre of the fabled ‘Birdman’ cult. We’ll learn about these beliefs and the gruelling annual race that once dictated power and social order, before cultural immersion of a different kind - lunch on Anakena beach accompanied by local folkloric music and Pacific-ocean views.
This evening we’ll head to the grassy meadow at Ahu Tahai to watch the sun sink into the Pacific behind the standing Moai and enjoy the ultimate scenic sundowner in one of the world’s most iconic travel spots.
Day 6
Location: Easter Island
An early start gifts us another extraordinary sight: sunrise at Ahu Tongariki. The Moai here were placed to align with the early morning sun and the sight of them slowly emerging from darkness into silhouette and then into sharp focus against the blue sea behind, is one you won’t quickly forget. We’ll return to the hotel for breakfast, and then head to the airport where our private jet will be waiting to fly us to the next destination on our journey: Fiji.
During our flight we cross the International Date Line, so while you’ll be flying during the day, we’ll actually arrive in Fiji at lunch time the following day. So, all the more welcome that we can stretch out and relax on the flight, perhaps making use of the lie-flat seats and being pampered by our dedicated crew.
When we step off the plane, we’ll be in a Pacific island paradise. Fiji is pure indulgence - a place to unwind and relax. We’ll have rooms with ocean and palm tree views, enjoy intimate outdoor dining by the pool and be invited to a grand banquet on the beach, served under the Fijian night sky. We’ve set the dial to ‘slow’ in Fiji - nothing here will be rushed.
Day 7
Location: Fiji Islands
Today we live the desert island dream and take a privately chartered yacht to South Sea Island, a perfect circle of powder white sand and palm trees lapped by clear turquoise sea. This tiny, uninhabited idyll is ours for the whole day so we’re free to swim, snorkel, sunbathe or just relax with a cold drink from the open bar. Fiji is as colourful under the water as it is on land, so don’t miss the chance to see its rainbow reefs and darting sea life, either with a mask, snorkel and flippers or through the window of an underwater coral viewer.
Day 8
Location: Fiji Islands
Our last day in Fiji is a beautifully blank canvas; you can do as much or as little as you please. You might be tempted to take the shuttlebus into town, or you could make use of the hotel’s five-star spa and beauty facilities before tonight’s ‘farewell to Fiji’ event. It’s going to be memorable, as we make our way to a private section of the beach for a waterfront BBQ dinner with a live band.
Day 9
Location: Fiji Islands
We bid farewell to Fiji and fly to Sydney, a shimmering pearl on the coast of New South Wales. Landing mid-afternoon, we’ll be whisked to one of the best addresses in the city, where we’ll wake to views of the East Harbour or Harbour Bridge. There’ll be time to get acquainted with your surroundings and freshen up before our dinner this evening.
Day 10
Location: Sydney
This morning we head off on a city tour of this unforgettable destination. From the lapping waves of Bondi Beach to the famous viewpoint of Mrs Macquarie’s Chair, Sydney has one of the most spectacular settings in the world - and we see it all. Afterwards, you’ll have time back at the hotel before we visit Australia’s most famous landmark, the Sydney Opera House. Instantly recognisable outside by its scalloped curves that represent a yacht’s billowing sails, we’ll head inside for our own tour. Following the tour, we’ll remain in this iconic setting and sit down to a specially prepared fine dining meal.
Day 11
Location: Sydney
Our last morning in Sydney is a flexible affair. Either explore by yourself or choose from a selection of activities, including being rewarded by breathtaking views from the top of the harbour bridge after climbing it, or braving the waves with a surfboard lesson on Bondi.
You’re in for a treat this afternoon, too. Sydney’s extraordinary beauty and setting is best seen from the water, so we’ll get acquainted with this vista on a privately chartered cruise. The harbour is especially beautiful at sunset, as Sydney begins to twinkle against the inky night sky. We’ll enjoy drinks and canapés on the deck against this perfect backdrop - an ideal aperitif before we sit down to dinner.
Day 12
Location: Sydney
Our private jet has flown us to South America, the South Pacific islands and Australasia; this morning we open a new chapter in our round the world journey and fly to Asia. Our destination is Siem Reap, gateway to the ancient world’s most exquisite architectural and artistic achievement: the temples of Angkor. On arrival at our hotel, we’ll be greeted by Chai Yam traditional folk dancers. There’s time to rest before we gather for champagne and cocktails, followed by private candlelit dining overlooking the idyllic palm-fringed lagoon.
Day 13
Location: Krong Siem Reap
We rise before dawn for the short drive to Angkor Wat, before the first rays of sun emerge. We’ll find the best spot and watch as the night sky becomes marbled with orange and gold and the iconic silhouette appears, mirrored in perfect symmetry by the reflection pool. There’s time to walk round the temple while it’s cool and quiet, before we toast the experience over champagne breakfast at the hotel. Later, we’ll return to tour the Angkor temple complex in small groups with private, specialist guides, including visits to Bayon Temple, Angkor Thom and Ta Phrom.
There’s time to unwind this afternoon, perhaps lazing by the pool, visiting the spa or even squeezing in a round on the hotel’s Championship 18-hole golf course. Early evening, we have a rare treat in store: a private show by Phare Circus, whose young performers enthral audiences with their acrobatics and stories about Cambodian history and folklore. Afterwards, we’ll be welcomed as special guests into a traditional Khmer house for a memorable meal.
Day 14
Location: Krong Siem Reap
Today we’ve handpicked a range of small group and private excursions to give you an authentic flavour of Cambodia, away from the tourist crowds - choose from a variety of special activities. Nothing says Southeast Asia quite so vividly as a tuk-tuk, so you can choose from an organised tuk-tuk ride into the countryside, traditional pottery or cooking classes, or private tours in open-topped jeeps round the local Khmer villages. There’s also a guided visit to nearby Tonlé Sap, the largest freshwater lake in Southeast Asia.
Tonight, we close our Cambodia experience on a high, heading back to the jungle and the Angkor temple complex for a private show of Aspara by Cambodia’s acclaimed Royal Ballet. The dancers, dressed in silk brocade and elaborate gilded headdresses will perform on the steps of the Kravan Temple, after which we’ll remain in this magical setting for a sumptuous, one-off banquet under the stars.
Day 15
Location: Krong Siem Reap
We journey from one heavenly heavyweight to the next, flying to Delhi and continuing by land to Agra, home of the Taj Mahal. After time to settle into our rooms, we’ll gather in the hotel grounds, drinks in hand, as a local company performs Indian dance on the lawn.
Day 16
Location: Agra
We’ll wake to views of the Taj Mahal bathed in soft morning light and set out after breakfast for a privately guided tour. The symmetry and scale only become more impressive up close, as exquisite detail covers every inch of the translucent white marble.
After lunch back at the hotel, a fleet of tuk-tuks will arrive to take us to Agra Fort. Travelling in twos, we’ll arrive at this palatial red-sandstone and marble fortress for a guided tour of its gardens, courtyards, pavilions and palaces and hear about its surprising, sometimes tumultuous past.
Day 17
Location: Agra
Back on the road, we return to the clamour and colour of Delhi this morning. Despite its central location, our hotel is a cool and serene retreat, and a perfect springboard for our afternoon sightseeing tour. Immersing ourselves in the sights and sounds of Old and New Delhi, we’ll take a rickshaw ride through Chandni Chowk market, stop for photographs at historic India Gate and walk under shaded colonnades in India’s largest mosque, Jama Masjid. We return to our hotel for dinner, and perhaps a farewell to India cocktail or two.
Day 18
Location: Delhi
We leave Asia for Africa, to complete our round the world odyssey with the quintessential safari experience. Boarding our private jet, we fly first to Nairobi, then take a chartered light aircraft to the Maasai Mara National Reserve. We’ll stay at a charming, tented camp under Kenya’s famous dark skies.
After checking in, we’ll head out across the plains in open-topped jeeps for our first game drive. Afterwards, exhilarated by our adventure, we’ll enjoy sundowners in the bush before heading back to camp for dinner. While our game drive is included, you can opt to relax and enjoy the lodge amenities before dinner.
Day 19
Location: Nairobi
Rising before dawn, we’ll take to the sky in hot air balloons to watch the sun rise over the Mara Plains. As the landscape awakes, we’ll spot wildlife and enjoy panoramic, eagle’s-eye views of Africa’s loveliest game reserve. Touching down, we’ll toast the experience with a champagne breakfast in the bush and then return to camp. A hearty lunch will set us up for a full afternoon’s game drive looking for cheetah, zebra, giraffe and gazelle as well as Africa’s prized ‘Big Five’.
Day 20
Location: Maasai Mara National Reserve
It's an early start again as we head out for a dawn game drive, returning for breakfast at camp before the heat of the day. Later, we’ve arranged a visit to a local Maasai village, where we’ll learn about the ways, customs and culture of this semi-nomadic people. They may have a fierce warrior reputation, but their spirited cultural dance, brightly coloured clothing and intricate beaded and leather handicrafts are a joy to see.
Returning to camp for lunch, we’ll embark on one final afternoon game drive before tonight’s farewell gala dinner. We’ll be joined by local Maasai villagers, whose singing and dancing will provide us with memories to last a lifetime.
Day 21
Location: Nairobi, Maasai Mara National Reserve, London Stansted Airport
On our last day together, we’ll sit down to a hearty breakfast at camp before boarding a local charter flight back to Nairobi’s Jomo Kenyatta International Airport. There, our private jet will be waiting to fly us to the UK. Arriving at London Stansted in the early evening, your private VIP vehicle will be waiting to drive you home.
