Titan’s VIP door-to-door travel service collects you from home for your flight to Lima.

Day 2 : Lima
Location: Lima
Accommodation: Hotel
Accommodation Name: Jose Antonio Hotel (4-star) or Four Points by Sheraton Miraflores (4-star), Lima

On arrival in Lima, we’ll transfer to our hotel.

Day 3 : Lima
Location: Lima
Accommodation: Hotel
Accommodation Name: Jose Antonio Hotel (4-star) or Four Points by Sheraton Miraflores (4-star), Lima
Meals Included: Breakfast

Our first full day in this seaside city, and we’ll waste no time in seeing what makes this city so special on a guided walking tour. We’ll start in this historic heart - Plaza Mayor - which has been painstakingly resorted and renovated in recent years. Dotted with palm trees and brightly coloured colonial buildings, it’s delightful to wander. The 18th-century cathedral is a highlight.

We’ll then continue by coach to visit the Archbishop’s Palace and the baroque Government Palace. At the San Francisco Monastery, the Mudéjar-style interior is beautiful and wall-to-wall library of parchment dating back to the 15th century is fascinating. We’ll also stop by the Larco Museum, which details the development of pre-Columbian societies.

The rest of the afternoon is yours to explore.

Day 4 : Lima - Sacred Valley
Location: Lima, Sacred Valley
Accommodation: Hotel
Accommodation Name: Sonesta Posadas Yucay Hotel, Sacred Valley (3-star)
Meals Included: Breakfast

Our stay in Lima is short and sweet because today we venture into the Inca heartland of Peru and ancient Andean culture. We’ll head to the airport for our flight to Cuzco, the one-time capital of Incan civilisation, nestled in the Andean highlands. Surrounded by mountains at every angle, you’ll have the feeling you’ve been transported to a fairytale world of Inca myth and legend (or maybe that’s just the altitude).

We continue our journey to the Sacred Valley, a river-carved area of flat, fertile land dotted with fortresses that have stood for hundreds of years. The well-preserved fortress of Ollantaytambo is particularly impressive - a 16th-century stronghold of Inca resistance against the Spanish. We’ll also stop by Pisac for its fun, lively market and stone Inca buildings, before checking into our hotel.

Day 5 : Machu Picchu
Location: Machu Picchu
Accommodation: Hotel
Accommodation Name: Sonesta Posadas Yucay Hotel, Sacred Valley (3-star)
Meals Included: Breakfast, Lunch

One of the standout highlights of Latin America - and world travel - is Machu Picchu. Every aspect of our day is exceptional and memorable. We’ll start with the train that winds its way up the Sacred Valley for your first breathtaking sight of the legendary mountaintop city.

As we explore the ruins together with a guide, it’s difficult to conceive the excitement of American archaeologist Hiram Bingham - the first ‘outsider’ to experience its majesty since its abandonment at the time of the Spanish Conquest.

There’s plenty of time to appreciate the glory of this Inca citadel before we retrace our steps back into the Sacred Valley.

Day 6 : Sacsayhuaman - Cuzco
Location: Saqsaywaman, Cusco
Accommodation: Hotel
Accommodation Name: Xima Cusco Hotel (4-star)
Meals Included: Breakfast

We discover the ruins of another Inca fortress at Sacsayhuaman. Soak up the wonderful, panoramic vantage point on Cuzco and the surrounding plains and mountains. Imagine some 400 years ago, Inca warriors would have launched forays against Spanish-controlled Cuzco. The blocks used in its mighty walls demonstrate the masterful stonework of that civilisation - they weigh 200 tonnes, but they fit together so precisely that not even a piece of paper could fit between them.

Back in Cuzco, we’ll enjoy a city with some time at leisure. This fascinating old city makes sure the old Incan ways are not forgotten. Colourful textiles, wild fiestas and carnivals keep the past vivid. The views surrounding the city are beautiful, from the Andean peaks to the Amazon lowlands.

Day 7 : Cuzco - Santiago
Location: Cusco, Santiago
Accommodation: Hotel
Accommodation Name: Plaza San Francisco, Santiago (5-star)
Meals Included: Breakfast

We say goodbye to Peru as we fly south via Lima to Santiago, Chile’s capital city. On arrival, we’ll transfer to our hotel.

Day 8 Santiago. Though it may not quite enjoy the reputation of many of the continent’s other illustrious cities, Santiago is a delight to explore - a city of colonial buildings sitting cheek by jowl with modern towers, all framed by the majestic, snow-capped peaks of the Andes.

Our tour commences at the National Museum, and also takes in Santiago’s historic centre, the bohemian Bellavista district and San Cristobal Hill, where we’ll enjoy superb city and mountain views. The remainder of the day is at leisure.

Day 8 : Santiago
Location: Santiago
Accommodation: Hotel
Accommodation Name: Plaza San Francisco, Santiago (5-star)
Meals Included: Breakfast

Though it may not quite enjoy the reputation of many of the continent’s other illustrious cities, Santiago is a delight to explore - a city of splendid colonial buildings sitting cheek by jowl with modern towers, all framed by the majestic, snow-capped peaks of the Andes. Our tour commences at the National Museum, and also takes in Santiago’s historic centre, the bohemian Bellavista district and San Cristobal Hill, presenting superb city and mountain views. The remainder of the day is at leisure.

Day 9 : Valparaiso - Viña Del Mar
Location: Valparaíso, Viña del Mar
Accommodation: Hotel
Accommodation Name: Plaza San Francisco, Santiago (5-star)
Meals Included: Breakfast, Lunch

A full-day excursion north of Santiago introduces two contrasting cities. Valparaiso, Chile’s main port city built over 42 hills, has a strong British character from the 19th century days of empire when Britain was Chile’s biggest trading partner. The port’s turbulent past included piratical raids and, over many years, heavy fortifications were established to protect the city and its cargoes. The historic quarter is now a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Viña del Mar could scarcely be more different - a popular, yet peaceful summer resort noted for its fine beaches, pristine parks and private gardens. En route back to Santiago, we stop at an award-winning winery for a brief tour and a tasting session with an expert sommelier.

Day 10 : Santiago - Puerto Varas
Location: Santiago, Puerto Varas
Accommodation: Hotel
Accommodation Name: Cabanas del Lago, Puerto Varas (4-star)
Meals Included: Breakfast

Today we fly to Puerto Montt, gateway to Chile’s ominous volcanoes, glacial lakes and sprawling national parks. We’ll take a quick tour of the city, stopping to enjoy the views of Angelemo Bay and Reloncavi Bay. We’ll then continue to the charms of Puerto Varas, nestled on the banks of the vast Lake Llanquihue - one of the largest lakes in Latin America. A truly magnificent setting for our stay.

Day 11 : Vicente Perez Rosales National Park - Nahuel Huapi National Park - San Carlos De Bariloche
Location: Vicente Pérez Rosales National Park, Nahuel Huapi Lake, San Carlos de Bariloche
Accommodation: Hotel
Accommodation Name: Hotel Edelweiss, San Carlos de Bariloche (4-star)
Meals Included: Breakfast

Get set for a day of scenic exploration. Our unforgettable journey takes us across lakes and through the dramatic Andes Mountains into Argentina and the city of San Carlos de Bariloche. We’ll trace the south shore of Lake Llanquihue to the small town of Petrohue. From here, we’ll board a catamaran, crossing Lake Todos los Santos in Vicente Perez Rosales National Park.

We stop in Peulla with free time, then continue onwards and upwards by road across the Andes and the Perez Rosales Pass into Argentina. We’ll cruise across two further lakes - Lake Frias and the immense, glacier-carved Lake Nahuel Huapi - before finally arriving in San Carlos de Bariloche, the Argentine Lake District’s favourite hub.

Day 12 : San Carlos De Bariloche
Location: San Carlos de Bariloche
Accommodation: Hotel
Accommodation Name: Hotel Edelweiss, San Carlos de Bariloche (4-star)
Meals Included: Breakfast

You’ll wake up to the generous views of the lakes this morning and we’ll waste no time getting to know this beautiful region. As we explore, you might get the feeling you’re in a European alpine resort, thanks to the influence of the Swiss, Austrians and Germans who once settled here. We’ll stop at the foot of the Campanario Mountain, the Llao Llao peninsula and the Angostura River, in the shadow of the Lopez Mountains.

The afternoon is yours to explore. As you’ll see, there are plenty of hilly hiking trails to explore - or perhaps stop by a local chocolatier for a taste of Argentina’s best chocolate.

Day 13 : San Carlos De Bariloche - Buenos Aires
Location: San Carlos de Bariloche, Buenos Aires
Accommodation: Hotel
Accommodation Name: Pulitzer Hotel, Buenos Aires (4-star)
Meals Included: Breakfast

We’ll have the morning to gulp in the last of that fresh mountain air before we board our flight to one of the world’s most iconic cities, beautiful Buenos Aires.

Day 14 : Buenos Aires
Location: Buenos Aires
Accommodation: Hotel
Accommodation Name: Pulitzer Hotel, Buenos Aires (4-star)
Meals Included: Breakfast

The ‘Paris of the South’, Buenos Aires is a city of simmering excitement and a tango heartbeat. A glimmer of its European past is barely buried under its lively Latino present. Sweeping green spaces are interspersed with grand French and Italian-style architecture, colourful street art decorates traditional neighbourhoods. You’ll be hooked on this city before you even realise it’s happened.

We’ll spend the morning on a tour of the best bits. The leafy Plaza de Mayo is lined with grand buildings including Casa Rosada, Cabildo and the Metropolitan Cathedral. We’ll continue to one of the city’s most desirable residential districts, San Telmo, before exploring La Boca, a district famous for its colourful tin houses and Italian immigrant history. Finally, we’ll visit the walled cemetery of Recoleta to view the elaborate mausoleums and resting places of Argentinean luminaries, including Eva Peron.

Day 15 : Buenos Aires
Location: Buenos Aires
Accommodation: Hotel
Accommodation Name: Pulitzer Hotel, Buenos Aires (4-star)
Meals Included: Breakfast

You can choose to spend today at leisure to explore the city further, or you might like to opt in for a typical Argentinean experience. On our optional day trip to a traditional Estância, you’ll learn about the daily life of the gaúcho, South America’s answer to the cowboy.

Day 16 : Iguazu Falls
Location: Iguazu Falls
Accommodation: Hotel
Accommodation Name: Hotel Bourbon Cataratas, Iguazu Falls (4-star)
Meals Included: Breakfast

The World Heritage Site of Iguazu Falls is world famous. A series of 275 distinct waterfalls, watching the water thunder in front of you is a surreal experience. We’ll take a flight from Buenos Aires today to see this stunning natural border dividing Argentina, Brazil and Paraguay. Taller than Niagara and twice as wide, Iguazu Falls are an unrivalled spectacle in the Americas.

We’ll take in the unforgettable Argentinean side of the falls today, watching the thunderous cascades set against a lush jungle backdrop, before crossing into our fourth and final country on our tour, Brazil.

Day 17 : Iguazu Falls
Location: Iguazu Falls
Accommodation: Hotel
Accommodation Name: Hotel Bourbon Cataratas, Iguazu Falls (4-star)
Meals Included: Breakfast

A further day to snap even more photos of Iguazu Falls, this time on the Brazilian side, where carefully constructed walkways and viewing points yield breathtaking panoramic vistas - a photographer’s delight! Relax or explore independently this afternoon.

Day 18 : Rio De Janeiro
Location: Rio de Janeiro
Accommodation: Hotel
Accommodation Name: Windsor Excelsior, Rio de Janeiro (4-star)
Meals Included: Breakfast

We fly to Rio de Janeiro today (possibly indirect). Upon arrival, we transfer to our hotel.

Day 19 : Rio De Janeiro
Location: Rio de Janeiro
Accommodation: Hotel
Accommodation Name: Windsor Excelsior, Rio de Janeiro (4-star)
Meals Included: Breakfast

The ‘samba city’ of Rio de Janeiro is another ‘must-see’ of world travel. Our full day tour includes a cog-train ride through the Tijuca Forest to the summit of ‘hunchback’ Corcovado Mountain, appreciating far-reaching views from virtually the same perspective as the iconic Statue of Christ the Redeemer, recently voted one of the ‘New Seven Wonders of the World’. We also pass some of the famous beaches and ascend the equally iconic Sugarloaf Mountain by cable car for more outstanding city views, this time with Christ the Redeemer in sight.

Day 20 : Rio De Janeiro

Recently returned from the great...

08-Apr-2024

Recently returned from the great Indian rail journey. My wife and I could hardly believe the value for money. From pick ups from Durham to Heathrow and back,to the number of coach and train journeys , quality hotels, great choice of food throughout and our first night in Heathrow Hilton. What really made our trip a success was our guide, Prashant, who managed a party of twenty four very varied, sometimes a little unpredictable travellers with ease.Nothing was too much trouble for him and as a group we gelled and warmed to Prashant as he kept us safe, well informed and a little entertained by his mix of authority and humanity.Where do I begin with the tour itself ? India,a country of extremes.Poverty,wealth,order,chaos.Sometimes bleak, often breathtakingly beautiful. The people, the cities, art, architecture, flaura and fauna.Delhi,Jaipur, Amritsar,Agra, Ranthambore, Chandigarh and the icing on the cake that is Shimla. An absolute masterclass of man versus nature, the railway and buildings are an unbelievable feat, but wait until you see the dual carriageway being built on the mountainside.🤯I could go on for a very long time but I'll just post some photos. Thanks to Titan, thanks to the excellent Prashant and and a massive thanks to the other twenty two travellers who helped shape our holiday of a lifetime.🏁💜

Not merely a holiday, rather a memorable experience

29-Dec-2022

I have used other travel operators; this was the 1st time of touring with Titan----Israel, The Holy Land, from being collected from home and returned at the end of the holiday this was an unforgettable experience; the Tour Manager, a PhD Archaeology made the whole tour so interesting, he enlightened us throughout each day from an historical, archeological and Biblical viewpoint, bringing each site we visited come to life, and went over and above his remit escorting us for evening trips around the local area; thanks also to our very patient driver who coped with the very busy traffic; our hotels were good, professional and pleasant staff and really good food; I would recommend Titan to anyone looking for a fascinating tour with excellent efficient service thank you Titan nor just for a holiday for a memorable experience

We had a fantastic holiday...

26-May-2023

We had a fantastic holiday in Mississippi. Right from our chauffeur driven car picking us up to the return journey, we had a great time. The first hotel The Gaylord was amazing, absolutely huge, first class. The second The Double tree in Memphis unfortunately wasn't, the hotel was tired and very basic, the only plus was where it is situated in the centre of town, we were only there two nights so it wasn't to bad. The American Queen Steam Boat was first class all the way, thoroughly enjoyed the seven nights sailing down the Mississippi. The last hotel the Sheraton New Orleans was very comfortable too. Our guide throughout our time away was Laura Tuttle. she was amazing, very knowledgeable, and helpful. We also had a coach driver Guil, who went over and beyond to give you the best time. Other coach guides included Jim,who was so funny, and also very knowledgeably. Very entertaining throughout. The entire itinerary itinerary was very well thought out, included a huge variety of visits to different Interesting locations. Highly recommend using Titan for all your holiday destinations.

THE GREAT INDIAN RAIL JOURNEY!!!!...

03-Feb-2024

THE GREAT INDIAN RAIL JOURNEY!!!! (Dreadful) Avoid Titan and Saga at all costs. False descriptions of the tour and dreadful administration Returned to the UK last evening with a great sigh of relief after the worst holiday ever. 1. No block booking of airplane seats by Titan. (Husband and I sat apart on the long, overnight flight) 2. Unable to pre-book seats as Titan reference numbers did not coincide with anything. 3. Husband and I not sat together on any of the train journeys! In fact, on one occasion I was sat, alone on a sleeper carriage, a couple of carriages away from the rest of the group who were scattered over two or three carriages. Terrifying as a female to be sat alone in the midst of noisy locals!!!!! (Eventually the guide, Rahi, did come to rescue me and found a seat near the main group) 4. The guide, Rahi, would usually get off the coach and begin walking off without waiting for all the group to disembark the coach. (Spot the guide in the crowd!) 5. The guide, Rahi, refused to use any identifying prop such as a flag, hat, jacket or umbrella. Frightening to be in the manic crowds of Delhi and other crowded places to be unable to see the guide. 6. NO AUDIO HEADSET system on any excursion 7. The guide, Rahi, didn’t face the whole group, but stood sideways on and was unable to be heard by the majority. 8. OUTRAGEOUS behaviour by the guide when he enquired as to the whereabouts of my husband, whom I explained was in bed with an upset stomach and was feeling unwell. Rahi DID A REVERSE AIR PUNCH😳😳. This was in response to an earlier conversation when my husband had complained about our separate seating arrangements. TOTALLY UNPROFESSIONAL 9. When we arrived at Heathrow to find our aircraft seats were not allocated, we were advised to speak to our guide on arrival at Delhi. Rahi merely shrugged his shoulders and said he couldn’t do anything. 10. Tour pace incorrect - gruelling pace and only half a day relaxation due to the guide, Rahi, throwing in visits to shops and factories fie him to earn his commission as I head him tell another!!!!!!! 11. When off loaded the return flight due to illness, we were unable to get in contact with Titan/Saga. Left in Delhi without an hotel or flight!!! Found accommodation but didn’t remove shoes or clothes due to the poor standard. Final summary: Poor, disappointing, inefficient, incompetent, misleading, misrepresentations, are just a few words to describe.

Luxury VIP door to door...

17-Jul-2023

Luxury VIP door to door travel! I don't think so....Titan sent a Toyota Prius uber to Stanstead for a return journey to Newport, S Wales. 4 adults plus luggage! the experience was anything but luxurious. Contacted Titan on the return journey and since return. They simply didn't seem interested and offered us a £300 travel discount off a future trip! After a lot of emails they converted it to a £300 cash refund. Give it a lot of thought before booking !
