Day 1 : Arrival In Cairo ( / / )

Location: Khan El Khalili, El Cairo, Giza Necropolis, Coptic Cairo

Welcome and assistance by the local tour coordinator at Cairo airport in the arrivals hall, entry formalities and transfer to the hotel of your choice. Visa Purchase: your travel coordinator will help you to get your visa stamps upon your arrival. ​

A vibrant, exhilarating, exotic, fascinating and welcoming city. Home to the best Pharaonic, Coptic and Islamic sights in Egypt, this city is where you never know what incredible, half-forgotten monument you might stumble across while wandering around., visit the capital's medieval markets by Khan El-Khalili, or walk down the Nile promenade. There are also plenty of cinemas, theatres and modern malls. Go for an opera or enjoy oriental music dance shows. Good for short breaks and long stays; you’ll get to see the Giza Pyramids, thousands of ancient artifacts in the Egyptian Museum of Antiquities and much more.​

Day 2 : Egyptian Museum, Citadel, Islamic Cairo & Bazar (B/L/ )

Meet your guide in the lobby of your hotel to start your tour.​
Tour 7,000 years of history at the Egyptian museum, home to the largest collection of ancient Egyptian artefacts in the world. ​
Continue to the Citadel, a medieval fortress perched high on limestone hills above Cairo, which was built in 1176 to protect the city from crusaders. Today, the citadel complex houses various mosques and museums, including the National Military Museum.
With its grand, soaring architecture and rich decoration, the Mosque of Sultan Hassan, completed in 1363, is one of the finest in Egypt and houses the mausoleum where Sultan Hassan's sons are buried. The more recent Refaie Mosque, which was completed in 1912, has well-preserved, colorful decoration.
Lunch at local restaurant.

Finally, visit the fascinating Khan El-Khalili Bazaar is reputed to be the largest bazaar in the Middle East. Originally founded as a watering stop for caravanserai in the 14th century, the bazaar has now grown to vast proportions. Wander through the labyrinth of narrow streets to find workshops and stalls selling anything from woodwork and glassware to leather goods and perfumes.​

Transfer back to the hotel.

Day 3 : Great Pyramids Of Giza, Sakkara (B/L/ )

Location: Great Sphinx Of Giza, Giza Necropolis, El Cairo, Sakkara Tours

Departure for your full day tour to Giza & Sakkara.
​The Great Pyramids of Giza are the only present-day survivors of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World, built over 4,500 years ago as giant tombs for the mummies of the pharaohs Khufu, Khafre and Menkaure, who were father, son and grandson respectively. The pyramids are truly monumental in scale, with the largest - Khufu's - constructed from over two million blocks. Optional entry into Cheops Pyramid for a glimpse of the interior structure.
Lunch at a local restaurant
​Nearby sits the enigmatic Sphinx with the body of a lion and the face of a man wearing a royal head cloth, which workers may have based on King Khafre to guard his enormous funerary monument. About a thousand years after the Sphinx was built it was covered in sand until a young prince had a dream in which the Sphinx told him that if he cleared the sand away, he would become Pharaoh. This story of the Sphinx is told on the 'Dream Stela' that was placed between the Sphinx's paws by King Tuthmoses IV.​
Continue to Sakkara for a visit to the step pyramid, the oldest important stone building in Egypt.

Day 4 : Abu Simbel (Optional), Philae Temple, High Dam (B/L/D)

Location: Aswan, Presa De Asuán, Philae Temple

Your Tour Coordinator will escort you to Cairo Airport for your domestic flight to Aswan​.

​The two temples of Ramses II at Abu Simbel are each fronted by colossal statues up to 20 meters (66 feet) high and are famed as the most impressive monuments remaining of Ancient Egypt. Recently, the temples were threatened by the waters of Lake Nasser, and with the help of a UNESCO campaign they were cut into blocks, raised piece by piece and reassembled in a new position higher up the hillside.​
​After your visit, board your return flight to Aswan.​
​Arrival: At Aswan Airport, your Tour Coordinator will meet you.​
​Transfer: Transfer by air-conditioned vehicle to cruise boat. ​
​Lunch on board. ​
This afternoon, short motorboat ride to visit the romantic and majestic Philae Temple on the Island of Agilika.​
Back to the boat for afternoon tea in the lounge.
Tonight, you will be greeted by your Boat Manager. A gourmet dinner will be served on board.​

Day 5 : Kom Ombo Temple, Edfu Temple (B/L/D​)

Location: Temple Of Kom Ombo, Esna, The Temple Of Horus At Edfu

A breakfast buffet will be served on board.
Morning at leisure to continue to discover Aswan.

Enjoy lunch, while you cruise to Kom Ombo and visit the magnificent Temple of Kom Ombo - dedicated to the crocodile-god Sobek.​

Afternoon tea will be served while you cruise to Edfu.

Visit the Temple of Edfu, one of the last great monuments of Egypt, in better condition today than the temples of Karnak, Luxor and Abydos. It is one of a few temples that gives access to the roof, from which you get a wonderful view over the Nile and surrounding fields, with wonderful views from its rooftop.​

Continue to cruise towards Esna.​

Day 6 : Luxor And Karnak Temples, Valley Of The Kings (B/L/D​)

Location: Louxor, Templo De Lúxor, Karnak Temple, Valley Of The Kings

Breakfast buffet on board during sailing to Luxor.​
Arrival in Luxor and departure for the visit of Luxor Temple. Built by Amenhotep III in 1380 BC, the site was added to by later pharaohs. The temple enjoyed many celebrations, the most important being the Festival of Opet which lasted almost a month.
Continue to the Temple of Karnak, built over more than a thousand years by generations of Pharaohs. The great “Hypostyle Hall” alone is a veritable forest of giant pillars rising 23 meters toward the sky. At the “Sacred Lake,” priests purified themselves in the waters before performing rites at the temple. At the height of its glory, Karnak Temple collected annual tribute from over 65 cities in the region.
Lunch on board of the ship.
In the afternoon, we visit the Valley of the Kings on the West Bank of Luxor. The Valley of the Kings is a vast City of the Dead where magnificent tombs were carved into the desert rocks, decorated richly, and filled with treasures for the afterlife by generations of Pharaohs. Optional visit to other other tombs, such as the Tomb of Tutankhamon, Ramses VI or Seti I.
Pass by the famed Colossi of Memnon, known in Ancient Greek times for their haunting voices at dawn.​
Return to your cruise for afternoon tea on board. ​
Tonight's farewell dinner will be a gala dinner ,serving gourmet cuisine followed by a belly dancer.​

Day 7 : Luxor (B/ / ​)

    We are an Online Travel Agency, specialized in Group Vacations and Private Vacations. Today Voyages offers a selection of tours that are designed, managed and operated by our network of trusted Tour Operators and DMCs. Our database is connected with our partners so that when you make a booking with us this will immediately be received and processed by the Tour Operator.

  • Where should I buy the flights to reach my destination?

    Today Voyages does not sell flights directly. None of our tours come with flights included. Why? Because we prefer to give full flexibility to our valued customers to select the airlines and the booking platform they prefer. As soon as your flight is booked and confirmed, we invite you to update your flight plan within your Today Voyages booking confirmation page by entering your flight number, departure and arrival times, as well as your Passport information (if needed). None of these fields are mandatory but we highly encourage you to provide as much information as possible. This will allow us to provide you with the excellent service you are looking for.

  • What is an additional excursion or tour optional?

    Certain tours might show a selection of additional excursions/optional activities that you may want to add to our standard itinerary. These services are priced separately and can be added to the cart before completing the booking. We believe these optional services to contribute to making your vacation unforgettable; however, you are in no way obliged to purchase them. All our tours are awesome with our without optional services!

  • What is the difference between Group Vacations and Private Vacations?

    If you purchase one of our Group vacation packages, you will be escorted by a professional tour guide and will be traveling with other like-minded travelers you may not know. The group size depends on the tour you select. If you purchase one of our Private vacation packages, you will be traveling only within your group of friends. You may or may not be escorted by a professional tour guide; this depends on the type of private tour you are interested in.

  • When and how will I receive the travel documents (vouchers)?

    If you book one of our Group or Private tours, you will receive your travel documents via email approximately 20 days prior to travel date. If you reserve one of our Vacation Rentals, you will hear back from the property manager via email a few days prior to checking-in. We recommend checking your emails on a regular basis as this is our most reliable method of communication. If you have questions or need additional support, you can always chat with us or email us directly.

  • What happens if a Group tour does not get confirmed?

    It is very simple... you will be offered an alternative departure date or be refunded the full amount you pre-paid. No questions asked!

  • What happens after I book?

    The majority of our tours are confirmed at the time of booking. This means that, after submitting the payment online, you will receive an order confirmation email; make sure to save this email and to note down your confirmation number for any future communication with us. Some tours may be sold on a 'on request' basis. This means that for these tours we reserve the right to check the availability of your spot(s) with the Tour Operator before confirming the tour to you. As soon as you submit the payment online for a 'on request' tour you will receive an email notification that confirms your order request. Within 72 hours, you will receive either a confirmation email or a denial email. Do not worry... we will do everything we can to confirm your tour!

Unforgettable tour in the US National Parks

I booked a guided tour in the National Parks through Today Voyages and couldn't have been happier! Our guide was great, he knew the destination very well and gave us great advice for the best hikes and view points. The itinerary was well-packed and we were amazed at the scenery of the South West. Helengeli island is stunning

Wow, Helengeli island is stunning. The resort is clean, the staff are so attentive, the grounds are pristine, and the food is 5*. Spending a week at this resort was simply paradise, white sand, crystal blue ocean, what more could you want! As I wasn't able to tailor-make my holiday, the Today Voyages team helped me find the tour that best matched my expectations, and they definitely didn't disappoint!!!

The Las Vegas and the National Parks Hiking Tour is a deal not to be missed. What a phenomenal trip! We were 14 people in our minibus and it was great to connect to all of them. So many stories to share. I just came back from an unforgettable 8-day trip to Kenya. A mix of relaxation and adventure. I had never traveled with a group before and, honestly, I was a little skeptical at the beginning. Pauline at Today Voyages convinced me that this was the right tour and the right destination for me. And the truth is... she was right. Tsavo and Watamu are such awesome destinations, our guide was impeccable and it was a small group: a family of 4, a young couple, and us. We became friends. Highly recommended!
