Day 3 : Seminyak – Barong Dance – Taman Ayun – Jatiluih – Bedugul – Munduk (B)

Your guide will pick you up from the lobby at a pre-arranged time. Head straight to the village of Batubulan to watch the colorful and exciting Barong and kris dance, performed by locals dressed in impressive costumes. This traditional Balinese dance tells the story of the eternal fight between good and evil. It is based on a Hindu epic from the Mahabharata story where Barong (a mythological animal) represents a good spirit and Rangda (a mythological monster) represents an evil one. In Balinese culture, it is all about the balance between good and evil.
After the performance drive to Taman Ayun, a beautiful temple surrounded by a handmade lake. Afterward, we went through a small wreck road to reach Jatiliuih village. Along the way, your eyes are pampered with alluring scenery. Upon arrival at Jatiluih, it is the highlight of a spacious fascinating rice terrace in Bali. Jatiluih is one of the UNESCO heritage sites. Here you may enjoy your lunch (at extra cost) while you enjoy the beautiful view.
Heading to Bedugul on the southern shore of Lake Beratan. The lake is also home to one of Bali’s most romantic shrines, the Ulun Danu Temple, which is dedicated to the Goddess of the Waters. This serene location exudes tranquillity and spirituality. Continue to Munduk, a mountainous village in north Bali.

Day 4 : Munduk – Trekking – Canoe – Vihara – Hotspring – Lovina (B)

Early in the morning, have a chance to explore Munduk with a light hike after breakfast, heading back to the twin lakes Buyan and Tamblingan, where you begin your short trek through the rainforest. Walking through the narrow path will take you to the rim of the lake, passing many interesting plantations, and exploring the heritage of Balinese medicinal plants.
Upon arrival at the lakeside, a traditional wooden boat awaits you to continue your next adventure, crossing the lake and on your way to the temple on the other side of the lake. This trip will take approximately 40 minutes accompanied by your local guide.
You may enjoy your lunch (optional) at one of the local restaurants in Munduk village.
Next head to Lovina at the north coast of Bali, on the way, stop at Banjar village to admire the wide expanse of Lovina beach in the distance from the top of the hill, where the Buddhist monastery Brahma Vihara is located, the central Buddhist expansion here in Bali, continue to Banjar hot spring before directly to the hotel. Here you may take a dip and relax and enjoy the hot water of nature.

Day 5 : Lovina – Kintamani – Besakih – Candidasa (B)

Heading to explore the less visited region of Karangasem, heading to the east coast of Bali. First stop at Kintamani to enjoy the breathtaking views of the Batur volcano and the crater lake below. The unspoiled natural scenery is spellbinding and has a rather alpine appearance. Mount Batur is without doubt one of Bali’s most impressive attractions. You may stop here to enjoy a cup of coffee (optional) while admiring the panorama.
Next towards the slopes of the Agung volcano, where the Besakih temple, the mother temple is located. Besakih is the largest temple complex, the most important temple, and holiest temple for the Hindu religion in Bali.
Continue through a twisty road to reach Besakih temple via Sibetan village, this village is the central cultivation of Salak or snakeskin fruit production, you may stop at one of many plantations along the road to taste these typical tropical fruits.
Arrive at Candidasa, check-in, and free at leisure.

Day 6 : Candidasa – Lempuyang – Tirta Gangga – Virgin Beach – Candidasa (B)

This morning you’ll be picked up from your hotel to discover the east part of Bali for the most popular temple on Instagram, known as Gate of Heaven, located at one of the most important temples in Bali Lempuyang.
After taking some beautiful and memorable photos to be featured on your social media at Lempuyang temple split gate, descend to Tirta Gangga water palace which was built in 1948 by the king of Karangasem as a bathing place for the king and his family.
You may enjoy your lunch (optional) at a local restaurant located just inside the water palace.
Drive to Pasir Putih, one of Bali’s most beautiful and most hidden beaches and recently used as the setting for the movie ‘Eat, Pray, Love’. Enjoy relaxing on the white sands, swim in the crystal-clear water or sip a fresh drink from one of the local seasides warungs.
Free at leisure. Transfer back to your hotel in Candidasa.

Day 7 : Candidasa – Tenganan – Kertagosa – Cepung Waterfall – Ubud (B)

After breakfast at the hotel, explore Tenganan village, is the home to the Bali Aga people, Bali first inhabitant who was there ever before the arrival of the Majapahit dynasty who came from Java. You’ll see the village’s primitive architecture as well as observe the weaving of rare “double ikat" pattern and basket weaving.
Continue with a drive to Klungkung to visit the former Royal Courts of Justice known as Kerta Gosa. The highlight here is an elaborately decorated ceiling featuring the “Wayang” style painting depicting the battle of good versus evil.
On the way to Bangli, you may stop at a local house where we may host you with local food as your lunch (Option – Pre-book).
Next, continue your trip today, to the heart of Bali where you will discover a hidden waterfall at Tukad Cepung. This waterfall becomes a magnet for many visitors, the rays of the sunlight shine straight through the top of the falls creating a warm ambience to enjoy the beauty of nature.

Day 8 : Ubud – Tirta Empul – Tegalalang – Ubud Palace – Monkey Forest (B)

In the morning, our tour guide will pick you up to experience a Balinese Hindu cultural ceremony, blessing, and purification at Tirta Empul Temple, famous for its holy water which Balinese worshipers have been drawn to for more than a thousand years. You will find a bathing pool in a natural spring of water with old-style Balinese designs Balinese old style. The guardian of the temple will accompany you to present the offering at the main temple; beforehand you will dip yourself into the pool of natural spring water as Balinese do for purification.
Afterward, a scenic road will drive you back to Ubud, Tegalalang village to witness a beautiful rice terrace in Bali, and then just next to it, you may trek down to the river and rice field where you may spoil yourself back the childhood to enjoy a swing (extra cost) in the middle of rice terrace.
Continue to central Ubud, to discover Ubud's royal palace, which was built in the 16th century, until today the palace is still the home to Ubud's king and the royal family.
Just next to the palace lies the Ubud art market, the most popular traditional market on the entire island of Bali. Here, walking through the aisle, the local vendor sells many things such as Balinese handicrafts and textiles.
The next trip is to the monkey forest, which serves as both a sanctuary for Balinese culture and is home to a sizable population of long-tailed macaques in Bali. There are two temples inside the forest: a Beji temple honoring the Gangga goddess for purification and a Dalem temple dedicated to Siwa.

Day 10 : Ubud – Balinese Farming – Tanah Lot – Jimbaran (Bl)

In the morning you will be met by your professional local guide at your accommodation who will then take you to your first stop, Guliang Kawan Village, located in the center of Bali.
A warm welcome from the villagers awaits you as you enjoy a simple Balinese breakfast served with coffee or tea. Next, you will enjoy a rural activity that allows you to stroll through the village streets to discover the daily life of the Balinese people. Here you will see how they dedicate themselves to their god, you will also be shown the art of making the beautiful Balinese Canang Sari. This is the daily Balinese Hindu offering, the symbol of thankfulness to God. Then, continue to see how the elderly Balinese people make palm wine, locally known as Tuak. You will have the chance to taste this common alcoholic drink.
Proceed to a blacksmith’s house and see how they produce Balinese traditional tools before continuing to the next house where you will see a Balinese man making a traditional hat that is commonly used by farmers.
Experience how the farmers work in the rice fields. You will learn how to plant, transplant, or harvest rice (depending on the season). At the same time, you will have the opportunity to learn more about Subak, the Balinese traditional irrigation system that is a UNESCO-acknowledged way of sustainable farming. A delicious lunch will be served in a hut facing the rice fields.
At the end of the day, you will head to Tanah Lot Temple, Bali’s most photographed. The temple is perched on a little rocky islet that is inaccessible during high tides. After visiting Tanah Lot your driver will take you Jimbaran.

Day 11 : Jimbaran – Free At Leisure – Uluwatu Kecak Dance (B)

In the afternoon heading to one of Bali’s most impressive temples, Uluwatu Temple is majestically perched on the edge of a steep cliff that towers above the legendary surf breaks of the south Island. At sunset you’ll witness a dramatic kecak performance at the temple.

Today Voyages does not sell flights directly. None of our tours come with flights included. Why? Because we prefer to give full flexibility to our valued customers to select the airlines and the booking platform they prefer. As soon as your flight is booked and confirmed, we invite you to update your flight plan within your Today Voyages booking confirmation page by entering your flight number, departure and arrival times, as well as your Passport information (if needed). None of these fields are mandatory but we highly encourage you to provide as much information as possible. This will allow us to provide you with the excellent service you are looking for.

What is the difference between Group Vacations and Private Vacations?
If you purchase one of our Group vacation packages, you will be escorted by a professional tour guide and will be traveling with other like-minded travelers you may not know. The group size depends on the tour you select. If you purchase one of our Private vacation packages, you will be traveling only within your group of friends. You may or may not be escorted by a professional tour guide; this depends on the type of private tour you are interested in.

When and how will I receive the travel documents (vouchers)?
If you book one of our Group or Private tours, you will receive your travel documents via email approximately 20 days prior to travel date. If you reserve one of our Vacation Rentals, you will hear back from the property manager via email a few days prior to checking-in. We recommend checking your emails on a regular basis as this is our most reliable method of communication. If you have questions or need additional support, you can always chat with us or email us directly.

What happens if a Group tour does not get confirmed?
It is very simple... you will be offered an alternative departure date or be refunded the full amount you pre-paid. No questions asked!

What happens after I book?
The majority of our tours are confirmed at the time of booking. This means that, after submitting the payment online, you will receive an order confirmation email; make sure to save this email and to note down your confirmation number for any future communication with us. Some tours may be sold on a 'on request' basis. This means that for these tours we reserve the right to check the availability of your spot(s) with the Tour Operator before confirming the tour to you. As soon as you submit the payment online for a 'on request' tour you will receive an email notification that confirms your order request. Within 72 hours, you will receive either a confirmation email or a denial email. Do not worry... we will do everything we can to confirm your tour!
