7 Day Morocco Desert Tour from Casablanca Marrakech

DAY 1 / CASABLANCA ARRIVAL — RABAT
Breakfast at the hotel, we'll visit two imperial cities in your Morocco tour, starting with Casablanca the main commercial capital of the morocco.

First we’ll visit Hassan 2 the second largest mosque in the world especially its location, right on the top of the rocky bay above the ocean this is one of the great achievement of morocco architecture, then to Place Mohamed V where the must old government buildings. Before we take you to our capital RABAT there, you’ll see the Hassan Tower built in 12th-century .then the Ordains Kasbah the 11th-century fortress built in Andalusian-style, it gives fine views over to Sale and the Atlantic Ocean.

Finally, you will be driven back to your riad for the night.

DAY 2/ CASABLANCA — RABAT — CHEFCHAOUEN VIA OUAZZANE

After breakfast A we’ll drive through the appealing road of Rif’s villages via OUAZZANE a beautiful small city; once in chefchaouen you'll get the first contact of this lovely city. Your visit in the blue city starts with our local guide.This is one of the loveliest in Morocco.

Small and uncrowded, it’s easy to explore, with enough winding paths to keep you diverted first the Kasbah a heavily restored walled fortress that now contains a lovely garden, a small ethnographic Museum, and an even smaller art gallery remember that every part or wall of the city is an attraction. Afterwards we will drive to our Raid for the night.

DAY 3/ CHEFCHAOUEN — VOLUBILIS — MEKNES — FES
After having breakfast in the Riad, our journey will start in Volubilis crossing via Ouazzane and other Riff villages. In Volubilis, we will discover the roman ruins and learn about the archaeological site of Moroccan history. Then we’ll head to Moulay Idriss which is a city built upon the rocky spurs of the Khyber and Tazga hills with the buildings tumbling down the slopes dramatically.

Afterwards, we will shift to Meknes city where we will stop for lunch and hang around the historical huge walls of the old Medina, Bab el-mansour and enjoy a visit to the mausoleum of Moulay ismail. Then, we will drive directly to Fes city where you will spend the night in a fancy Riad.

DAY 4/FES SIGHTSEEING.
After breakfast in your Riad, you will start visiting the country's spiritual capital and our oldest city (FES) .by walking on its crowded souks, epic alleyways, and historical monuments. First the great Royal Palace gate between new Fes and the old one.

Afterward we’ll start visiting all the sites with cultural and historical interest including the famous Al Qaraouine University, the Tanneries, and the Attarine museum.

After lunch, you’ll see the best area to stay in Fes (Fes El Bali) an UNESCO World Heritage Site, this is the most exotic and old area in the city, with its alleyways, and epic Moroccan monuments such as Babb Boujloud (the Medina's main gate). Fes el Bali is a paradise of local handy-made craft-work with colourful Moroccan styles, leather-work, metalwork, In the afternoon, we’ll visit the new city for a drink. Overnight in a Hotel/Riad.

DAY 6/ MERZOUGA — TODGHA GORGE — DADES VALLEY
Your camel man will wake you up early in the morning to watch what well may be the best sunrise Climbing the sand to experience sunrise at Merzouga is a unique experience that is so often embedded in the minds of our visitors .then you’ll camel-trek back to the village of Merzouga admiring the unique beauty of the spectacular Erg Chebbi sand dunes — changing with their colours as the day progresses.

DAY 7 / ROSES VALLEY- TODGHA VALLEY-OUARZAZATE- AIT BENHADDOU — MARRAKECH — CASABLANCA
After breakfast in the hotel we’ll drive through The Dades Valley a fascinating part of the famous Road of a thousand Kasbahs. We’ll stop at Kalaa-Mgouna, “the rose city” famous with its annual festival of roses, to purchase the rosewater, and a lot of cosmetics local products. Continuing on to Skoura and the bird’s valley where the main features are the mud brick Kasbahs especially the Kasbah Ameridil, a well-preserved Kasbah in this area. After some hiking in the valley lunch is in a restaurant overlooking the whole valley. The tour continues to Ouarzazate, “the Hollywood of Africa”, whose geography and beautiful landscapes has attracted many world-class film producers.
