Day: 1

Check out Mother Nature's most epic creation, Niagara Falls. Made up of three waterfalls, this mighty natural wonder will blow you away with its sheer power. The noise it makes is pretty immense too! Take the included ‘Maid of the Mist’ boat trip for a truly awesome up-close perspective of the falls. Prepare to get very wet!

  • New York Area
  • Niagara Falls

Day: 2-3

Take some time to explore the wares of Kensington Market, a huge area where you can find some interesting souvenirs for the folks back home or simply pick up some tasty treats for the road. For a different perspective on this vibrant and multicultural city head up to the top of the 457-metre high CN Tower for some great (if a little dizzying) views. Rent a bike to explore the city or catch a ferry to the car-free Toronto Islands and soak up the tranquillity. At night, head to the Distillery District, a five-hectare area devoted to Toronto's finest eateries and drinking establishments, or grab your fellow trekkers and catch a baseball game.

  • Toronto

Day: 4-5

In the true spirit of the Canadian pioneers, set off on an unforgettable included wilderness canoe trip in the province's largest and best-known park, Algonquin Provincial Park. With thousands of possible canoe routes to be taken, this truly is one of the most unique ways to explore the area, so enjoy! Keep an eye out for a sighting of moose or Black Bears.

  • Algonquin Provincial Park

Day: 6-7

A true cultural mix is next on the agenda with a visit to Montreal - the second largest city in Canada. Enjoy the city's French culture, narrow lanes and quirky cafes. For adventure seekers, you can rip it up across the Lachine Rapids by high-powered jet boat. For the foodies amongst you, Montreal has some great cuisine to sink your teeth into. Why not try a local favourite, poutine? Delicious cheesy curds on thin French fries all topped with a thick gravy, yum! Or how about a ‘Reuben’ smoked meat sandwich, which is totally delicious and melts in your mouth? For a culinary adventure, Montreal's famous restaurant in the dark, O'Noir, will totally tickle your taste buds.

  • Montreal

Day: 8

It's time to enjoy some French culture in Quebec City, as you explore the streets of North America's only surviving walled city. Practice your French and embrace the European flair or get snap-happy around the historic Old Town, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Fuelled by warm pastries and scrumptious local cheeses, pay a visit to the Basilique Cathedrale - the Notre Dame de Quebec. With its gold interior and ornate carving, it's a majestic wonder definitely worthy of your time. The compact size of this city makes one night here easily doable, so get out and really discover this picturesque city.

  • Quebec City

Day: 9-10

As you say au revoir to Canada, you head back onto US soil and make your way to the only national park in New England. Acadia National Park on Mount Desert Island is beautiful all year round, but the colours really come alive in autumn so if you're travelling later in the season you could be in for a treat. It's time to get out there amongst nature, so hit the many trails for some hiking, biking, or choose to sea kayak amongst hidden coves. Enjoy the picturesque town of Bar Harbor and if you're a fan of beer, check out the local microbreweries.

  • Acadia National Park
