Then it's onto another awesome city, Washington DC, for an introduction to the political, social and cultural history of the USA. Join an included bike tour led by a local to visit the stunning monuments and get to know your way around this beautiful city. Day: 3
As you head south, watch as mountain views begin to morph into swamps, plantations and palms. Beautiful scenery will constantly be flying by your window as you make your way to your campsite for the night. Then there's only one thing left to do: devour s'mores around a roaring campfire. What are s'mores? Melted chocolate and marshmallow heated over a fire and sandwiched between two crackers. We're pretty sure it'll be the best thing you've ever tasted!
- North Carolina
Day: 4
Charleston is the oldest city in South Carolina, this place just oozes character - and what better way to experience it than with a stroll along the coast? Take photos of the Morris Island Lighthouse that stands far offshore or jump aboard an optional Charleston water taxi, where you can spot some interesting wildlife. Experience the ultimate taste of the South with a Charleston Nasty Biscuit, a chicken biscuit (which is actually more like a scone) covered in gravy. Sounds gross, right? But it's delicious and a favourite with the locals!

If the food of the Deep South gets your mouth watering, why not join a cookery course at the New Orleans School of Cookery, so you can make life back home a little tastier with your new-found skills?
