Itinerary
Day 1: Siem Reap - Your Adventure Begins!
Location:
Siem Reap
Accommodation:
Hotel
Today is the first day of your epic adventure and your Tru Welcome day! We kick things off in the gateway to the ancient city, world-famous for Angkor Wat. Nowadays, this laid back river town is known for its lively dining and bar scene which we’ll hit up this evening.
You can take advantage of your free airport pick up, or you can meet us at our hostel where you’ll meet the rest of the family, along with your Travel Ninja. You’ll have the day to chill & get settled in or explore the city. In the evening, join forces with your group for your welcome speech and to hear what’s in store for you over the next nine days. Head out for a group meal near the legendary Pub Street, Cambodia’s answer to Thailand’s Khao San Road, famous for flashing neon lights, backpacker friendly bars and street food. If you fancy it, sink a drink or two and party the night away - the perfect icebreaker.
TRANSPORT: You will be met at the airport and transferred to the hotel to start your adventure.
Day 2: Cambodia Rural Experience, & Floating Village, Sunset Bbq - Tru Exclusive
Location:
Siem Reap
Meals Included:
LUNCH, DINNER
Today we set off for a Tru Exclusive, an authentic Cambodian experience you can’t get anywhere else. Hop in a tuk tuk and drive through the bustling streets of Siem Riep to today’s cultural experience. Step into the shoes of a local Mango farmer and learn what it takes to be a farmer in rural Cambodia. You’ll even get to enjoy the fruits of your labour.
All that farming has got us peckish! Join our local guide in his family home, roll your sleeves up and help prepare lunch for the group. We’ll head back to the city to spend some time chilling at the hostel, taking a dip in the pool and getting ready for a sunset BBQ this evening.
You’ve got a big day ahead tomorrow, so best to have a chilled one tonight and get an early night. We’re not holding you to it though!
ACTIVITY: Tru-exclusive
ACTIVITY: Have a chilled evening watching a beautiful Cambodian sunset.
Day 3: Sunrise At Angkor Wat
Location:
Siem Reap
Rise and shine people - prepare to be blown away. It’s time to tick a big one off your bucket list! It’s our last full day in Siem Reap, but arguably one of the highlights of your trip. One of the most TRUly amazing experiences you will have the chance to witness. Take in the sights of the Cambodian countryside, while navigating the winding roads in a tuk tuk on our way to the UNESCO Heritage site and world famous Angkor Wat just in time for sunrise.
Words cannot describe the feeling of watching the sun rise over this ancient spiritual site. Get your Insta worthy shots of the temple’s reflection in the ponds with the red hues of the morning sky. The afternoon is yours to explore Siem Reap, or take a much needed nap before our last night out on Pub Street.
TRANSPORT: Scoot quickly around the big cities inside a three-wheeled mini-taxi.
ACTIVITY: An early start but totally worth it
Day 4: Siem Reap To Phnom Penh
Location:
Phnom Penh
Wave goodbye to Siem Reap, and head towards Cambodia’s capital city, Phnom Penh. After last night’s antics, you’ll probably need to use this time to catch a few z’s. Stop off in the countryside for a spot of lunch before heading to the famous Spider Market where you can get up and close with Tarantulas (if you’re brave enough), or if you’d prefer, you can just hide in the van - we won’t judge!
Check into our Phnom Penh accommodation, freshen up and head out for an evening stroll and group dinner at a riverside restaurant. After dinner have a wander through the night market or skip that and head straight out to check out the bustling nightlife!
TRANSPORT: It's bigger than a van, smaller than a bus, and just the right size for adventure.

An important part of travelling is taking the time to learn about a country’s culture and history. Today is a very humbling and eye-opening experience as we head to Cambodia’s S21 prison and Killing Fields to learn about the chilling and not too distant history. Kampot
In the morning, we make our way to the riverside town of Kampot taking in the stunning mountain views and rivers before we stop off at Arcadia Waterpark.
