After being collected from the airport, enjoy your first evening getting to know your new buddies!

TRANSPORT: You will be met at the airport and transferred to the hotel to start your adventure.

The next day, dive into Medellin’s well-known history on a city tour and visit Comuna 13 to see the famous street art and travel the escalators into the once notorious neighbourhood.

Climb 650 stairs up El Peñol Rock for breathtaking views before heading to Guatapé, Columbia’s most colourful town and an Instagram hotspot! Discover why the coffee industry is so vital to the local community at a local coffee farm.

Swap the city for the jungle! Catch an early flight to Santa Marta where we will base ourselves for a couple of nights. Spend some time chillaxing by the pool and soaking up the hostel’s awesome atmosphere!

TRANSPORT: Look! Up in the sky! It's a bird! It's a plane! It's... yup, it is a plane, actually.

We jump aboard jeeps for the day and head deep into the Colombian Jungle to Minca, a nature lovers’ paradise adorned with wildlife and waterfalls. Check out some of our favourite spots, and head to the mountains to spend the afternoon relaxing in hammocks at Casa Elemento, taking in the lush sights.

Spend the next two nights at arguably the plushest hostel in the country at the hidden gem of Viajero Tayrona. Sip some cocktails over a bonfire on the beach in the evening. The next day, surf’s up; catch some waves, play volleyball and bring out your inner beach bum!

TRANSPORT: It's bigger than a van, smaller than a bus, and just the right size for adventure.

In the morning we do some River Tubing; a great way to wake up after your evening of cocktails the night before! Play a game of volleyball, take a stroll along the beach and bring out your inner beach bum!

Grab an early breakfast before heading back down the coast to Cartagena. We spend most of the day on the road before heading out old town Cartagena for sunset drinks.

Today is arguably the highlight of your already epic experience! Hop on to a boat and head to Islas de San Bernardo, a group of islands 2 hours away from Cartagena. We spend the next 2 nights on a private island at the incredible Isla Roots resort, set in the mangroves. Optional activities include water skiing, kayaking and paddleboarding.

You’re in for a treat today as you head off the beaten track on a private boat for a Carribean island-hopping adventure. Spend the entire day making a splash, jumping from jaw-dropping island to island, stopping off along the way to dig your toes into glistening white sand and make a splash in crystal clear waters swimming and snorkelling. We visit the most densely populated island in the world, stop off at the gorgeous and quiet Tintipán Island home to many exotic birds and stop off at Murcura coral island. A picture-perfect retreat!

After grabbing breakfast, we leave island life behind and head back to the mainland to check back into our hotel in Cartagena! Have a couple of hours to chill out, relax and freshen up for your last night on the town with your new-found buddies! We wander down to the enchanting Old Town Cartagena taking in the sights of this historic town and its colonial architecture, vibrant street life and delicious food. Cap off your epic adventure with a cocktail or two while watching the sunset- definitely an Instagram worthy moment! The Walled City is a must-see for anyone visiting Colombia!

Enjoy your last goodbye breakfast with your newly found, yet long life friends before you check out. If you’re continuing your stay or need to plan your onward travel, your group leader will be on hand to help you with any onward travel.
