Croatia Sailing Adventure

Welcome to Croatia’s second largest city, Split! (Splato in Italian) Fly into Split Airport aka Resnik Airport check into our boat from 11am. Let’s kick start this european sail-venture! Check out Split, it’s a vibrant and lively city hit up Diocletian’s Palace, famous for featuring the Game of Thrones series! We leave Split harbor in the afternoon and head towards the island of Hvar. Stari Grad is a UNESCO heritage site but just a short journey away is Hvar town centre. We head out for a welcome dinner with your new TruFam, get to know your new fellow sailors and sit back and enjoy a well deserved cocktail. You’re on holiday after all. It’s the first night so we see where the night takes us. Did someone say Hula Hula Bar?

Fast becoming one of Europe’s hottest places to be right now is Hvar. Hvar is the journey to the town? Not far at all ;) Along the way we stop for a swim. Hvar is known to be one of the most stunning islands in all of Croatia. Hike up the zig zag path to the Spanish Fortress, an unbelievable viewpoint perched high on a hill overlooking terracotta rooftops, the turquoise blue colours of the marina and some of the best bars in town.. Where you’ll find us later of course. In the evening we head out. OUT OUT! Hit up the best bars, sink a couple of beers or 7. (It’s well deserved after that hike after all) or just take advantage of buy 1 get 1 free cocktails. With a handful of bars and clubs open until the late AM, we may even make it for sunrise? Start as you mean to go on..

Are you ready to go off the beaten track? Let’s do this! This morning we cruise towards Mljet Island located in the Elaphite island’s. Surrounded by seawater lakes and with less than 1000 inhabitants it’s pristine and beautiful. We head to Miljet National Park, a hidden gem of Croatia. It’s scenic, it’s beautiful, A nature lover's paradise. Swim in the crystal clear waters, walk through the emerald green forest. Is this a dream? It sure damn feels like it! 10/10 ultimate zen vibes, spend the day visiting the church and monastery or hire a bike and cycle around the stunning lakes. After an epic day we dock up overnight in the port of Pomena or Polace.

Dubrovnik is THE place to be, THE most famous place in Croatia that is. Not only is it a UNESCO World Heritage Site, Dubrovnik oozes with history, style and class. The city by day is any traveler's dream destination and by night? It’s popping! We sail in with dreamy views of the scenic coast before we dock up and spend the afternoon exploring together as TruFam. Whether you’re looking for aerial views of the city via cable cart up to Srd Mountain, to walk the cities 1,940m long city walls or hey if you just want to find a super cool edgy bar for a colourful cocktail with an umbrella straw, Dubrovnik has it! In the evening we venture out into this magical town and indulge til your heart’s content.

Wake up and Seas the day! After breakfast we sail to Korcula, Croatia's little hidden secret. Luckily for you, we’ve got the inside scoop as we are here for the next EPIC 24 hours. With hidden clubs and edgy sunset bars around Korcula it’s easy to see why it’s on everyone’s bucket list. Will this be the highlight of your trip? We’ll let you decide that one..If you’re looking for good vibes, rich European culture and 10/10 delicious red wine. You’re in the right place. Spend the day exploring the town and the city walls. Once the night falls, we step out to sample the local cocktails bars!

We leave Korcula in the morning and head to our next spot Makarska! Along the way we stop for a swim, just to cool off in the hot hot hot weather. We dock overnight in port so we head out for dinner as TruFam and see where the night takes us. Makarska is full of lively booming bars open till the early AM. Famously a sea cave turned disco. Wild right? You know where to find us..

Today we head towards Omis for an action packed day! Melt away your problems laying on the open deck before we stop at a hidden bay on Brac Island for one last swim and dip. Heaven. If you're up for it, join us for river rafting or ziplining. Spend your afternoon, rafting through river rapids or zooming mission impossible style through the forest of the Cetina River. Just want a chilled one? No problemo, sunbathe away and chillax on our boat before we set sail for Split. The approach to the Split riviera is nothing short of breathtaking . Split is full of restaurants and quirky bistros so we head out for one last farewell dinner and 1 too many glasses of wine! It’s our last night afterall..

Have a chilled morning before check out, it’s been a wild week. Give your new TruFam a extra cuddle, swap instagram handles and add each other to an all important Whatsapp group and promise to all catch up asap.
