Day 2 : Istanbul Tour

Begin at the Hippodrome of Constantine, to explore the relics of what was once the center of mighty Constantinople during Byzantine times, including the Obelisk of Theodosius, broughtfrom Egypt to Constantinople in the 4th-century. Afterward, it's time to visit the magnificent Hagia Sophia Mosque, which has served as both a Greek Orthodox Cathedral and an imperial mosque over the centuries. Head to the Egyptian Spice Bazaar this morning to enjoy the diverse aromas before enjoying a laid-back Bosphorus Cruise, where you can admire the eclectic architecture of the city as you travel between Europe and Asia, watching the palaces of the Ottomans, Dolmabahce, and Beylerbeyi pass by you.

Around 16:00 – 18:00, our team will pick you up from the lobby of your hotel and transfer to the airport to take a night flight to Cappadocia. When you arrive to the airport, you make your self-check-in with the flight information provided to you after you booked this tour and take your flight to Cappadocia. Continue to Pasabagi to see the mushroom-shaped pinnacles and learn about the hermits who once lived here. This place is discovered by Lazarist priests after a German nun described the house and the mountain as the last residence of the Virgin Mary after she had some visions about the place. Today this place is a Muslim and Catholic, being cared for by Lazarist Fathers. Lazarist Fathers still celebrates the mass every day.Then we will drive to Ephesus. Ephesus was one of the most important harbor cities in the antique world and also it is mentioned in the book of Revelations as one of the seven churches. Also, Celsus Library and theater in Ephesus are the other highlights. In Ephesus, we will see, Celcus Library, the Temple of Hadrian, the fountain of Trajan, and the Theater.We will have lunch in a local Turkish restaurant. After lunch, we will visit Isa Bey Mosque which is built in 1375 by Anatolian Seljuks.The last stop of the tour will be the Artemis Temple, one of the seven wonders of the ancient world, standing today next to Ephesus antique city. First I would like to say our tour guide (Rose) was simply amazing. She had 14 years experience with incredible historic knowledge of the Ephesus sites as well as Kusudasi. She was very pleasant to listen to and attentive to all our questions and requests. The driver was also great, on time and pleasant as well. The Ephesus site was much more interesting than expected. Learned so much about early civilizations, their technology and culture. All in all this was one of my best tours and I highly recommend to anyone visiting this region. Ask for Rose to be your guide ! 5 on 5 Stars !

Safari tour with jeep.....this is the most magnificent tour and lovely view we had....see the sunrise and visit few places along...with the knowledgeable tour guide make us feel that we dont lack any information to the places that we go....first experience with hot air ballon...mesmerising and stunning view from the air.... Magnificent Century movie is the most reason why I decided to explore Turkey....and I feel lucky and grateful have a such a lovely Husband who understand my desire to explore Turkey and visit my beloved Sultan tombs...Sultan Suleyman al Qanuni, his beloved wife..Sultan Hurrem and many more that I want to...al Fatihah to all of them....with good food and lovely people around make us feel so welcomed...and of course we will come again. Ali explained to me each of the important areas of the upper part of Ephesus as well as the lower part of the city. He was able to answer all of my questions and speaks very good English. My favorite part of the tour was related to how the Mulberry tree was used in the ancient city — but I will keep it a secret! I liked Ali so much that I used him to plan a two week tour of the country.
