The High Dam Aswan :
High Dam was constructed between 1960 & 1970 with the help of the Moscow-based Hydro project Institute to have better control over Nile flooding, generate Hydroelectricity, and provide increased water storage for irrigation in its reservoir lake Nasser. After its construction, it put the Abu Simbel and Philae Temple in danger but was miraculously saved by UNESCO in the 60s in the most challenging archeological rescue mission in human history.
The Unfinished Obelisk:
The Unfinished Obelisk is a unique monument with no comparison, it was constructed by an order from Queen Hatshepsut (1508-1458 BC) to stand at the entrance of the Karnak temple with the Lateran obelisk that resides today at the Lateran palace in Rome. The obelisk became known as "Tekhenu" which means to pierce the sky" & reached the height of 42 m and weighed 1200 tons and showcases how exactly obelisks were constructed. The obelisk was cracked during construction and remained in the same place till today.
Philae Temple:
Philea Temple is a genuine mesmerizing example of the goddess Isis of Love & Beauty, it is known for showcasing the" Myth of Osiris" that the husband of Isis "Osiris" Is killed by His brother Set out of pure hatred & envy then Osiris is resurrected to be the ruler of the underworld then Set is defeated by Isis and Osiris Son Hours the sky God. The temple was relocated in the 60s to the island of Agilkia as a part of a rescue mission led by UNESCO after the construction of the Aswan High Dam & the flooding of Lake Nasser. Valley of the Kings :
Valley of the Kings is a tunnel to the afterlife and a staircase to the heavens for the greatest kings and queens of Egypt's New Kingdom (1570-1070 BC). It is probably the most important archaeological site in the world as it became a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1979. It contains 63 tombs filled with countless enchanting artifacts, decorations, and the remains of pharaohs like Ramses (I, II, III, IV, V, VI, VII, IX, X), Amenhotep I, Hatshepsut, and the famous boy-king Tutankhamun.
Hatshepsut Temple:
Hatshepsut Temple is the finest reflection of the allure & grandeur of the new Kingdom (1550-1070 BC) and showcases the great statue of one of the most successful rulers in the history of Ancient Egypt Queen Hatshepsut. The temple is called Deir El-Bahari and was once known as Djeser-Djeseru (Holy of Holies). It was designed in 1479 BC by Hatshepsut s chancellor Senenmut and took 15 years to construct & the design of the temple is based on the concept of Classical Architecture. It holds some of the most impressive decorations and statues in all of Egypt.
Colossi of Memnon:
Colossi of Memnon is an ancient art piece protecting the city from all harm. The colossi consist of two colossal blocks of quartzite sandstone standing at the height of 18 m (60ft) weighing 720 tons each which has the shape of Amenhotep III(1386-1350). The colossi are quite damaged due to a large earthquake in 27 BC but were rebuilt again in 199 AD. The statues were famous during the Greco-Roman period as there used to be a rumor of The Vocal Memnon as the statues sang at dawn in a crying sound from time to time which was nothing more than the sound of the wind passing through the statue.

Karnak Temple :
Karnak temple is one of the holiest archeological sites in the world and one of the world's biggest man-made constructions & open-air museums in the world. It was known as Ipet-isu which means The Most Selected Of Places and Pr-Imn House Of Amon for more than 4000 years as the center of the religious worship of the entire ancient Egyptian kingdom. The entire complex was mainly dedicated to the Theban triad which consisted of God Amun with his wife the Goddess of Justice Mut and his son the moon god Khnsou, but also served other gods like the great Osiris, Montu, Ptah, and Isis. The complex covers 2 full miles of land and holds over 25 temples and chapels, including many Obelisks, sanctuaries, and groups of columns that detail the heroic tales of the Pharaohs.

Catacombs of Kom El Shoqafa :
The Catacombs of Kom El Shoqafa are a special piece of foreign art located in Egypt as it represents the fusion of the ancient Egyptian culture during the Greco-Roman Period. It was constructed as a necropolis dating to the 2nd century AD which was able to mix the artistic elements of the Hellenistic and Roman culture with ancient Egyptian Pharaonic design in the ultimate breathtaking fashion. It holds a great number of Greek and roman artifacts and decorations in its three-level stories which made it gain the title of one of the seven wonders of the Middle Ages.
Pompey's Pillar:
Pompey's Pillar is a great pillar of ancient roman times, it is the largest monolith column ever built outside of Rome and stands at a height of 28m tall and 2.7 m wide of pure red granite, and on its western upper side is a Greek inscription dedicated to Emperor Diocletian. The reason why it is named Pompey's pillar is that in the Middle Ages the crusaders mistakenly believed that the remains of the great Roman general Pompey are located in a pot at the high top of the pillar.

Qaitbay Citadel:
Qaitbey Citadel is a special castle holding the spirit of Alexandria Lighthouse, it was constructed in 1477 by sultan Al-Ashraf Saif Al-Din Qa'it Bay to contain amazing Islamic decorations in the same location which contained the marvelous lighthouse of Alexandria using the stones salvaged from the destroyed lighthouse that served as the third longest surviving ancient wonder in the world until it's destruction by a series of earthquakes between 956 AD and 1323 AD.
Alexandria Library :
Alexandria Library is one of the biggest and most advanced libraries in the world, it acts as a commemoration of the ancient Alexandria library and has a mesmerizing design. It contains the world's sixth-largest Francophone library in the world. The library contains books in Arabic, English, and French plus it holds the largest depository of French books in North Africa and the Middle East, beautiful art galleries plus a collection of some of the rarest collections of books in the entire world.
