Tour Overview

This delightful and inviting nation has a few unique Scriptural connections adding profundity to the Christmas experience. Start Christmas Day itself with a visit to the St George Church in Madaba to see its renowned mosaic guide - a sixth century gem addressing the most established existing guide of Palestine. Next is Mt Nebo - from where Moses saw the Guaranteed Land. End Christmas Day with a visit to Bethany - a key journey site on the stream Jordan where John the Baptist is accepted to have purified through water Jesus. Here you can investigate Roman and Byzantine remaining parts including a religious community, recluse caverns and extraordinary sanctification pools. Appreciate Christmas supper ignoring the Dead Ocean, then fill the days among Christmas and New Year visiting a portion of Jordan's most suggestive locales. You'll have an entire day, for instance, in the midst of the shocking rose-red 2300-year-old vestiges of the superb desert city of Petra - with the additional charm of an evening candlelit visit. You'll likewise investigate the sensational sandstone vistas of Watercourse Rum, portrayed by Lawrence of Arabia as an "immense, repeating moon like scene", where your extravagance camping area offers an opportunity to rest outside under stunning brilliant skies. Then, at that point, party into the New Year over a phenomenal celebration supper in the waterfront resort of Aqaba - perhaps following a day lazing on the ocean front or swimming the Red Ocean's unmistakable waters.

Highly recommend this tour company. Most importantly, super easy comms with Ethar on Whatsapp before, after and during, was so great to know she was available to help me with anything during my week in Jordan. She really made me feel welcome in Jordan. I had already booked a week in Aqaba, and Why Jordan made it easy to arrange a driver from Aqaba to Petra, overnight in Petra + an 8 hour horseback and hike through Petra to Aaron's tomb. the lunch in the desert with Sultan was incredible, and the driver Abed was also a great representative of Jordanian hospitality, full of great conversation and got me to Petra by Night on time ! Just great customer service throughout, would definitely use Why Jordan again for next trip!

In May 2023 we had a wonderful 8-days tour in Giordani visiting Amman, Jerash, Monte Nebo, Petra, Wadi Rum desert (Bedouin lunch in the desert), Aqaba and Dead Sea. Everything has been well organized (special thanks to Ginan), and we could really enjoy the vacation being always accompanied and supported in our travels by a good driver. To be done at least once in the life!
