Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you will be met by our representative and be transferred to your hotel for check-in and spend the remainder of the day at leisure.

Leaving Nairobi after breakfast, you’ll travel towards Kenya’s fertile highlands and head down the Rift Escarpment on a road built by Italian prisoners of war during World War II. Look for the charming chapel they built at the foot of the escarpment. You’ll pass the impressive Longonot earth satellite station as you head across the Valley to Narok, and then travel across acres of wheat and barley fields before you reach the Maasai Mara and be at your camp in time for lunch. There will be an afternoon game drive to introduce you to the park.

Overnight Sentrim Mara Camp (with lunch, dinner & breakfast) or Similar

Grab an early morning tea or coffee at the camp and then leave with a packed bush breakfast so that you can enjoy a morning game drive and watch life in the savanna awaken. Return to the camp for lunch. Relax at the camp until 4 o’clock, then you will proceed to an afternoon game drive and watch the sunset or stay at the camp to relax. Maasai Mara is an extension of the Serengeti ecosystem to the south. The Mara is noted for its abundance of lions – particularly the superb black-maned males. See the Great Migration, where over 1.5 million wildebeest and other antelopes cross the extensive Mara River. Experience the battle between survival and hunger and how life in the savanna is constantly on the move. You are also likely to see lots of elephants here, often in large herds, as well as – if you’re lucky leopard, cheetah, and rhino. All of the Big Five are residents of this area. The African buffalo isn’t shy so you’ll be sure to meet a few. Get the cameras ready and enjoy yourselves! In the evening visit a Maasai village at an extra cost payable directly.

Overnight at Sentrim Mara Camp (with lunch, dinner & breakfast) or Similar

Leaving Maasai Mara after breakfast, you’ll travel across the ‘breadbasket’ of Kenya, where acres of wheat and barley litter the landscape as you head north to Narok, the district headquarters of this part of Maasailand. Now travel across the vast plains on the floor of the Rift Valley, keeping an eye out for herds of giraffes and gazelle as you head up the Mau Escarpment, before arriving at Lake Nakuru. The waters here are often colored shimmering flamingo pink, from thousands of the beautiful birds lining its shores. After lunch at SarovaLionhill Lodge, depart for an afternoon game drive in Nakuru National Park before returning to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Overnight at Lake Nakuru Lodge (with lunch, dinner & breakfast) or Similar

After an early breakfast, you will depart with a picnic lunch leaving the Rift Valley behind you as you continue towards Nairobi and then head south towards Amboseli National Park. Then proceed with an afternoon game drive in the park en route to the camp arriving in the evening.

Overnight Sentrim Amboseli Lodge (with lunch, dinner & breakfast) or Similar

Enjoy a full day in the park filled with game drives in the early morning and in the afternoon in Amboseli National Park. Keep an eye out for the magnificent views from the snow-capped Mount Kilimanjaro also known as “the roof of Africa”. The best time to catch a view of the tallest free-standing mountain in the world is during early morning or just around sunset. Game drives with all meals and overnight at the Camp on a full board basis.

Overnight Sentrim Amboseli Camp (with lunch, dinner & breakfast) or Similar

Following an early breakfast, you’ll catch your last views of the majestic Mount Kilimanjaro as you depart Amboseli while you take in your final glimpses of game en route to the border of the park. Arrive in Kenya’s bustling capital city of Nairobi by early midday. A journey that is approximately 220 km/ 3hrs 45 mins. On arrival, lunch at the Carnivore restaurant will be dropped off at the airport for your departure flight.
