@_kennawilliams_'s Top Tips

"The Ulun Danu temple is beautiful, but it is a small part of a larger “park.” The park does get quite crowded during lunch as there are restaurants on site. Go early!"

@_kennawilliams_'s Top Tips

"Visit Tanuh Lot close to sunset. It will be crowded, but there’s ample space to relax and catch a beautiful sunset on the coast."

@_kennawilliams_'s Top Tips

"Leave all loose items in the car when you visit the Secret Monkey Forest. These monkeys may be adorable, but they are feisty and can get aggressive if you bring bags in with you (they think it’s food!)."

What do you love most about Angkor Wat?

"You'll feel mesmerised by the ancient designs and each temple has a unique story. I loved exploring the forests to get to each temple. It felt like an adventure on its own. "

Benefits of a tour guide for Angkor Wat

"There are many tour guides at each temple waiting to give you a tour on a tuk-tuk. You can explore by yourself too. Rent a bicycle to get around easily. I'd recommend a motorbike, it's faster!"

Must pack items for Angkor Wat

"Wear appropriate clothing that covers your shoulders and knees. You'll spend a lot of time walking so wear comfortable shoes. Bring bug repellant and sunscreen!"

@tiffanyswindow's Top Tips

"Spend at least 2 days exploring! If you're not on a tour, rent a motorbike and have the freedom to explore on your own. Be careful with your money, as they don't accept any torn or ripped cash."

Where can you get tickets if you're not on a tour?

"You can purchase at the Angkor pass ticket counters. Book it a day before, have it delivered to your hotel and skip the line! Or, book online on the Angkor Enterprise website and show your ticket."

Are there restaurants nearby?

"You'll find shops at every temple, if not, then nearby. They sell drinks or snacks, and clothing (traditional clothes for photos). There is a place at Angkor Wat for sit-down food and drinks."
